This place is amazing! There are mini lounges and seating areas inside the different vaults and throughout the halls. The bar is gorgeous and they have a very creative cocktail list.
Not pretentious at all, there were people in a Cavs hoodie and people in tux and gowns (maybe an after party?).

This historic space is a unique and beautiful place to bring people from out of town to show a bit of Cleveland history while enjoying a high caliber cocktail. The atmosphere is surprisingly very relaxed: the space separates the bar area from the original Cleveland Trust private vaults which serve as rooms in which you can hang out with your group. Each vault is gorgeous and different, its like being able to handle a museum piece. While the entrance is a bit hard to find and may contribute to the Vaults hidden speakeasy vibe it's a really well designed space. Specialty cocktails range from $14 to $18. The cocktails are in fact fantastic and exceed the quality of the ones you can find anywhere else downtown. Each has a unique name with interesting ingredients, the bar tenders take time and effort making them and they're nicely topped with garnishes. If you're looking for a drink that is well balanced and artistically made this is a prime choice after a show at place house square. Their aviation is probably the best I've tried in Cleveland.

Keegan is a hoot! We had a wonderful time. Great small bites, I recommend the Nashville hot sliders or the Sinful Shrimp. The craft cocktails are all very tasty. My favorite is the Romero with the Lakeshore lemonade coming in a close second.

This is my 2nd time here and I STILL love it. My friend and I went to celebrate her promotion at her new job and we thought it was simply a magnificent visit. The staff were friendly, the drinks were delicious, the ambience is everything and honestly, who doesn't want to hang out in a vault!? I did my manifestation in one of the vaults, lol. I feel so exquisite whenever I step foot into this establishment. I will never get enough and I promise myself to visit each time I'm in Cleveland. You will not be disappointed, I promise.

Came here for my friend’s 21st 4 years ago and loved it - they made the experience so special and the places was VIBES. Came back last weekend for her 25th birthday and honestly we need to stop using her bday as an excuse to go because we loved it even MORE. amazing drinks (blackberry Mule was so delish), staff was awesome (shoutout our boy TJ who not only made these bomb drinks but also took our photos like a PROFESSIONAL with his phone light and everything), and the place is still just as cozy and unique. Tons of rooms to explore and places to take pics. Start your night here!!

Absolutely fabulous. Gerard made our party feel very special(the man needs a raise)and we loved every bit of it. Great food and the drinks were amazing. Best Christmas party yet.

Have a drink or bite in Cleveland's oldest vault. It's located underground, you access it by going into the Metropolitan hotel and pressing the B1 floor for the elevator. It's actually a big space and can easily accommodate 100+ people. There are different, little rooms (that used to be bank vaults) that you can sit in with your friends for a more private atmosphere. I got a mocktail and the bartender made me something delicious, sweet, fruity, and tropical-inspired. I wanted to try their mac and cheese bites but they were unavailable. So, I think, in the end, I was only charged $3.75 for my mocktail, which is insane because I'm from California and a mocktail at a place like this is always at least $10. Definitely worth the trip to come here for a drink, to hang out, or just browse the history and old vault doors.

There's nothing like going back in time to a historic Vault where you can enjoy the sites and stories of over 100 years of history while enjoying craft cocktails made by some of Cleveland's best bartenders and mixologists.
The Vault is located in the 9 building downstairs. You have the option of street parking if available or valet parking or take an Uber to ease the worry! The staff here is very knowledgeable, friendly and fun! We challenged the bartender to be creative and he was 3 for 3 on delivering impressive cocktails. First was a rum daiquiri, second a tequila strawberry jalapeño that was out of this world, and lastly a watermelon rum drink that had us feeling like summer was here already!
Walking around the Vault there's many rooms and seating to choose from and so much character and charm of what once was a bustling bank Vault. This is a great spot to go on a date, or out with friends or group events. The space allows for such versatility where a company party would even be a great option.
The small appetizer bites we sampled were delicious, my favorite was the pork belly, melt in your mouth, bursting with flavor. Charcuterie board, toasts with liver pate were all perfect pairings to accompany the atmosphere and cocktails we enjoyed.
Definitely on my list of places to visit again and maybe bring some new guests along! Would be great to see live music here too as it would complete the whole experience.

I love this place. All of the staff is cool. Reminds me of the types of bars I like back in NY. I highly recommend this place.

This is a must see place in Cleveland! Great for work events or just a night out! Great custom drinks (they make them fresh and very unique) would 100% recommend to everyone! Don’t forget to ask the host for a free tour! Gives you insight into the history of the place!

Do you like fancy cocktails with a cool background? Well this place is for you. The vault is legit, it has history and tours are available for you to enjoy. The lighting and decors are definitely on par with the theme of this underground vault. The cocktails range from menu based recipes to black book concoctions from the bartenders. Also they have appetizers, vegetarian friendly. Best hummus I have had. Jonathan is a bartender/mixologist who deserves a mention. He created great off the menu cocktails, magical abilities with his craft. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a fun night out in Cleveland.

This place is a must see when in Cleveland. The staff was wonderful with providing some brief history of the downtown area and vaults. The drinks were superb!

Great place to meet friends or give a fabulous party. Beautiful nostalgic atmosphere. You feel like you're back in the 40's in a old bank vault, or a fun Speakeasy.

Such a cool place! I haven’t been there for several years, I don’t live in the area. But it was such a fun memorable experience. Hope to be back someday!

Fancy with a super neat atmosphere with rooms in old bank vaults. It makes a great match with the rooftop bar when open. Also a great place for events.

Jamir is thee best bartender. He is a master in his craft. You can tell by the attention and detail he puts into each drink he creates.

A must if you're ever in Cleveland, seriously. Between the manager Alyssa and the bartenders Brandon aka BStill and Jack, you definitely can't go wrong!

Great place to hang out and have outstanding drinks. The band performing was amazing (Paulo Costa trio). Very fun night! Staff members were very kind and helpful.

The atmosphere is amazing. dark, lots of big cool steel bank vault doors, and all of the tables, chairs, etc seem to fit together perfectly. we just had drinks at the bar, but it was very cool. service was great, drinks were great. overall very well done!
