First Financial Bank & ATM

Deposit rates not as generous as when it was First Bexley Bank but still better than most local banks. No long lines or waits compared to most other banks. Unlike Chase and many other banks this bank has not paid huge fines and penalties for misconduct.

The local employees (Bexley) are terrific; however the bank’s processes leave something to be desired. I deposited a check by snap deposit, and it showed it was accepted. It never showed up in my account. I called and was told a human had reviewed it and rejected it, and I was never informed. Terrible! If I had written checks, they would have bounced. Also, tried for a home equity loan, and basically was told had to give them my IRA - not as collateral, but the money and shares so their investment branch could trade it!!! Not a good way to build a customer base!

Not the best place to establish a student account for the teens. Overall I did not find the staff particularly caring, and this is not a bank I would choose to open an account for myself. Better off at a number of other different banks in Bexley.

Do not deal with this bank. My mother passed away last year. She dealt with a dozen or so financial institutions. I am collecting the variousc1099s so her tax professional can file her final tax return. This bank REFUSES to senda 1099. They are the only company to refuse. They are making my life difficult by making me constantly think of her passing. My guess is they were not happy I closed the account as I am rhe beneficiary.

Do not deal with a heartless company that will cause anguish to the loved ones you leave behind. ZERO out of 10 stars.

Worst bank i have ever used in my life, everytime i try to make a payment it gets reveresed, and they keep removing and locking my bank account, which makes it to where i can not make payments at all, i have sat on the phone multiple times for hours with customer service for it to go nowhere. I do not recommend this bank anybody, ever. If you are thinking about using 1st financial bank, save your credit score and make a difference choice!

I choose this bank based on my fantastic experience in Dayton area. It is so much opposite here in this location. I understand they use the drive through but that is not an excuse to ignore the customer waiting at the drive through. They do not give the receipt with the balance on it even if you tell them ten times. After waiting for 10 minutes they will ask you to wait at the parking lot for the receipt and the bank balance . Unfortunately I get the receipt without balance on it. Very inconvenient to me.. I have a business and I know how I fell if I get one negative review. But it will not any difference with my review to this institution as they are affiliated to big company .

If you work normal hour Forget this bank. They still believe in the negative meaning of Banker's Hours.
