The Country Inn and Petaly's Restaurant

Came back to the country inn after a long time and was pleasantly surprised. The outside seating is beautiful, the bread wonderful and the chanterelle pasta was outstanding. Pete and Dianne are gracious hosts making dinner a wonderful experience

This food was absolutely amazing. My husband and I are staying in the area and decided to check out this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. I got the brussels sprouts white pizza. The pair of caramelized sprouts and creamy cheese on thin crust and a sweet balsamic glaze was very satisfying. I had the refreshing summery hibiscus ginger cider and my husband got the steak salad special with burrata, artichoke, Brussels sprouts on a bed of spring greens and drizzled with balsamic and evoo. He says it was balanced and the steak wascooked to perfection.

Wonderful food, music and atmosphere! From appetizer to salad to main meal and dessert, simply delicious! Diane & Pete are the best hosts with a friendly, cozy and inviting way with all their guests. Highly recommend!

One of our favorite places to eat when we are upstate. The pizza is some of the best we’ve had, and consistently delicious. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the owners treat their customers like family.

What an amazing escape! We stayed 2 nights for our anniversary and Diane and Pete were incredible hosts. The first night we were welcomed with a beautiful fire under the twinkle lights after arriving late from NYC. Pete is an exceptional chef, the food was incredible (both breakfasts and dinner) and the B&B is so cute and cozy. The second night we had drinks under the tin roof outside while listening to the rain, it was so relaxing. We can’t wait to go back, thank you Diane & Pete!

We had a great experience here! The food is high quality & delicious. Really friend staff & patrons. It felt like being invited into someone's home paired with a beautiful view of a field & pond. They also had Arrowood beer on tap, a major bonus 👌🏻

Lovely small guesthouse run by a super nice couple. The rooms are pretty big and cosy. They prepare a breakfast for all the guests at 9am at a large communal table. They also have a great restaurant with simple but great Italian food and like 500 types of beer. The owner is really passionate about his food, he prepared a delicious and very generous cold cut platter.

Literally among The.Best.Pizza(s).Ever. And that's high praise as I'm a pizza connoisseur who's tasted the best of the best in Rome & various Italy locales, NYC, NJ, California, Florida and on and on. My wife had a special, a meat dish, which she loved. Fantastic ambiance. Wonderful welcoming owners.

Such an amazing Catskills retreat just 2h outside of NYC. The B&B is has a great location in the middle of 2 lakes, beautiful views, magical with the snow... The bedrooms are large, comfortable beds, with bathtub and fireplace. Perfect place to relax and unwind, hike around, close to Woodtsock and Ashokan reservoir.
Diane and Peter are amazing host, Peter cooks amazing meals for you upon request and Saturday night he makes his own pizza.
Cant recommend this place enough! I can not wait to come back in summer time or fall to see the foliage.

The Country Inn is a warm and welcoming B&B. Owners/Hosts (Diane & Pete) are fantastic, very friendly, and attentive. I felt like I was staying with family. Breakfast is freshly made every monrning - cery healthy and delicious. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Highly recommend it.

The food here outstanding and if you like beers, nothing beats their library of options.

Everyone working there is extremely friendly and helpful; the bartender went out of his way to explain how a specific drink was made to ensure it was to our liking before giving it to us.

If you're there a night they have the 3 meat pizza, get it. It's amazing. They also have desserts that are so savory. This place is worth it. Cash only though.

What a cool spot! The bed and breakfast is amazing! What a great vision and execution of everything that a small "mom and pop" bed and breakfast should be. Fully refinished rooms that combine rustic comfort and modern style. Highly recommended.

The most beautiful pizzas in the Catskills come out of this oven. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very sweet cozy and clean indoors. Incredibly beautiful and private setting to eat outdoors.

Had a great weekend staying and dining at the Country Inn. Diane and Peter are great hosts and made our weekend trip very memorable. Would recommend!

When Larry owned the place it was hard to find what you liked best, everything was top shelf, the whisky, beer, food and music. The Pinball Machine, Pool Table, and I did mention music didn't I. I stopped in after Larry sold and it was much the same but the food was better.

Just at there last night, after a day of X-country skiing, and every second of the meal was exquisite. Well, maybe the house salad a little uninspired. Spring for the special salad if you have a yen for one. But the special I had, which they dubbed shrimp ragu, was fantastic.

Top notch B&B. Very nice room, great breakfast. Host was very accommodating and welcoming. Little hard to find, but worth it.

We go here almost every weekend, friendly service, delicious food (often local), and beautiful rustic space -- especially the outdoor deck with a lovely firepit.
