Very rugged and several steep trails. A true nature park without a lot of wide and cut back trails, but they are well established and easy to see. Plenty to see, many creeks, ravines and miles of trails.

Volenteered there today (Earth Day!). Planted some willows, picked up litter, and cleared out blackberries. Beautiful area with great potential.

Its a good exploration spot and rather large considering other parks in the area. Its a pack it in pack it out kind of place. There is no real parking for it, so you got to get to and find an entrance into it on your own. Lots of flora and fauna.

Beautiful little urban sanctuary. In April, the bird life is abundant - chickadees, great horned owls hooting, brown creepers creeping along tree trunks, several types of woodpeckers and nuthatches. I agree, it's tricky to find the entryway, but once in the forest, the unmarked social trails lead to many delights!

We just had a group of 20 enjoy a fascinating field trip through The Friends of North Creek Forest. We all can learn to appreciate the wonders of nature and our part in it through opportunities such as these. Definitely worth visiting and we look forward to coming back.

Awesome trails, topography and trees? Right in town too. Wish we could turn off the freeway noise, but with enough big maples, cedars and brush it seems far from the City.

An almost wild experience right here in Bothell. And real science is conducted here to understand how a forest in a city recovers, grows, and survives, and how the water that flows through it affects the local salmon populations, and thus the resident Orcas and whole Puget Sound

"Bothell's best kept secret, but not for long! North Creek Forest is a stunning sanctuary nestled in the heart of the city. Preservation and restoration of NCF is backed by one of the most passionate volunteer armies I've ever encountered. Friends of North Creek Forest (FNCF) deserves a big shout out for adding fuel to the conservation fire. I've grown both professionally and personally through my interactions and internship with FNCF. North Creek Forest is creating a ripple effect throughout the surrounding communities, spurring a new-found interest in forging a stronger bond with the biotic community."

Beautiful, natural forest. Great tour included plant identification, history of the land, and including the original inhabitants' ways of being, harvesting.

I have volunteered here, and it is an ominous but beautiful forest. There is a LOT of restoration work being done, so some entry points are a little confusing.
