I really like this quarry. There is a lot to explore. Definitely not the tidiest park (there's a small amount of litter throughout, and a ton of graffiti in places) but it really is a fun place to visit!

It's hardly ever been crowded when I have visited. Also I believe there is a port-a-potty in the parking lot, which is nice. I can't vouch for its cleanliness though.

This quarry park is beautiful. You also can hunt for fossils.

This is a very unique place. It is an old rock quarry with a few ponds and some hiking trails. I found it very interesting, but quite different from most parks. I did not see any playground equipment, but I think they should add some. It could stand to be better developed, but maybe it is fine as it is since it seems to be well attended during this time of COVID-19. The ponds are full of water in the Spring and there is so much space one feels quite safe.

Favorite place in Dayton. It's magical and the best sunset you can find around here. Walk all the way to the back by sunset and see the best view. So beautiful.

Place is BEAUTIFUL. Nearly secluded, there's never an excess of other people. Great for bird watching, hiking, chilling, driving RC trucks, and drone flying.

One of the nice places in Fairborn. The most I like about it is that nature is mostly taking care of it. The park is very big and it takes many visits to walk all it’s trails. Also, it has different sets to enjoy, such as a pond, open spaces, and trees to walk in between. Some people say that if you pay attention you may found fossils! Parking and admission is free. I highly recommend this place and if you love nature go and enjoy your day!

Love this place. Has a way of taking you away even if for a brief moment. Wear your hiking shoes and bring some water head West through the park to enjoy a nice overlook. Small climb but worth it.

I ended up here because the family I came to visit all worked, none of whom have actually been here, having no idea where I was headed. At first it looked like I was not allowed to be there with the construction trucks, but there is a sign(also dog friendly, was flying or he’d def be with) and I entered the trail the an amazing outlook of vast nature, rocks and trails leading random relocation of where you start, but it really was beautiful and defiantly plan to return.

Plenty of people and dogs there but enough space you can find your own little area to be at. Lots of people taking pictures for senior pics and other things. Saw lots of wildlife like a snake and tadpoles and different kinds of birds. Some of the water is so clear you can see straight to the bottom.

A hidden gem in Dayton. A great place for photo shoots! I always see dogs splashing around in the water there. This parks makes you feel like you are somewhere other than Ohio!

Really nice place to walk around, get your steps in & adventure around. There are little ponds around with lots of frogs & tadpoles. You can wade around in them. Bring your dog. The only that that stinks is there aren't very many trees around for shade in the dug out quarry, plenty around up a bit higher, so if it's warm & sunny, try to go prepared & with some sunscreen & water. Found lots of smaller fossils, so that was fun for my kiddo

We did a Star Wars themed photoshoot here last May 5th and it was great. A great venue for outdoor shoots with feels of desert/ abandoned planet or something. It has rocks and small ponds and horizon of mountains. Saw some people fishing and walking their dogs. I'm not sure tho if there is any entrance fee to go in but for shoots i know you need to secure a permit. Not sure how much bec our organizer prepared the permit for our shoot. :)
