Garland Wetland Reserve

The just-finished trail, part gravel and part boardwalk, provides a short, shady loop through the wetlands. It’s a nice spot for someone with a walker or wheelchair to take a nature hike. Wear mosquito repellent in the summer.

It's a small loop trail that is only .3 miles but had very nice scenery.

Port-o-potty available, boardwalk slightly obstructed by fallen tree (on the left from parking lot). I was able to step over, my dog was able to jump over the fallen tree, and we continued our walk. Nice boardwalk with benches to observe the wetlands, plenty of beautiful views of nature, probably easy enough for mobility compromised people to enjoy as well.

We walked it multiple times, it's a nice short loop with trails and multiple boardwalks! Awesome for my pup

Clean and plenty to see

A small new park with a short boardwalk loop. Nicely accessible for people with limited mobility or strollers. Highway noise takes away from the ambiance.

One visit in winter of 2021 we saw fantastic ice formations around the trees in this wetlands. After a flood, waters receded gradually in freezing conditions, making delicate skirts of ice around the base of the trees.

An underappreciated gem of a park. Level surface for walking. 1/3 a mile loop. I walked out directions five times and always feel invigorated.

When its warm, good place for a nice walk

This is a small, basic park with lots of trees. I like it - I didn't give it three stars because it's bad, more to just manage expectations. It has a small parking lot, with one handicapped spot, and it was recently paved so it's nice and smooth. There is one obvious trail, wide and flat but not paved, into the woods. They do have plastic boarders around the growth close to the lot, so I'm not sure if they are planning to do more with it or not.

This isn't much of a park, more of a area set aside from development. No parking or trails here.

Must be under development. A very short new boardwalk that dead ends after .1mi
