Larry's Main Entrance

Great spot for a late night drink! The food and drinks are always great. I've lived by this place since 2021 and it has been a pleasure to visit. I will miss the place when it closes. Hopefully someone takes over the establishment.

This is a hidden gem!! Don't expect fancy table cloths, napkins, tables, or décor. However, you can expect off the charts food, well-crafted stiff drinks, and a cozy neighborhood feel. This family-run small business is small but that only adds to the charm. Ask Alan, the owner/bartender, for the history and you will see how this place has been a community staple for years.

I have had many different items from the menu and have yet to be anything other than impressed. Pro-tip...order the cheesy bacon fries!!

I have been coming to Larry's for years and it is now a weekly staple. Even during COVID, Larry's did try to cut corners. They still have reasonable priced food and drinks. Not only is Larry's priced well, you get a lot of well crafted food and drinks.

You will still not have a fancy white table cloths, but everything else is amazing. You will not miss anything here at Larry's, it is by far one of best places in Akron.

One of Akron's (Hidden) Gems. Good food at reasonable prices (I would say the menu has typical bar food). Fantastic service and a terrific atmosphere (stained glass and old movie posters). As other reviews have mentioned it is small with very few TV's, but that is part of the charm.

Seriously?! Less than a mile from our front door for over 9 years and just NOW the first time here. Please go! You won’t be disappointed! Al makes the BEST drinks and Sarah is the best server!

Always an amazing time and atmosphere. the owner, Alan, makes it a point to come to the table to say hi and establishes a relationship with you - you don’t see this happen too often anymore! It’s typically the same crowd on the weekend which is great because then you become friendly with everyone. Great service and prices. Will continue to come here week after week!

Love this place! Happy to call it my "Cheers"! Great food and servers! The owner Alan and his wife makes it very welcoming and terrific Hosts! Don't miss out on a wonderful place to stop through.

Nicest staff and great wings. The bartender is awesome! He makes you laugh and always has a joke or story if you ask. The place is small for intimate seating and just enough if you have kids with you. Family friendly and couple friendly as well. Allen is the bomb as a bartender. Don't forget to tip him too! He deserves it. My wings were hot, covered and perfect. I think they should be the top seller from there. Fries were hot and fresh too.

A very nice Bar and Grill Restaurant. The food is very Delicious. The eating area is lightly darkened and nice for intimate time with your date or husband or wife. Employee staff is nice. Nice atmosphere of people there to eat and drink. A very nice place to Take your girlfriend to or marriage couple.

My absolute favorite local spot!!! The owner is a blast. It’s a very Cheers style atmosphere where everyone knows your name and cares about how you are doing. Prices are reasonable, a little lower than what’s normal for the town. Food is awesome, especially the mushrooms. My husband and I trade off staying home with the kids and going here for a night out we love it so much. Give them your business and you won’t regret it!

Watched the owner walk over a thank a veteran for his service and gave a discount on his meal. The very old veteran stated that was the first time anyone had did that for him. Thank you Allen for taking care of our veterans!

This is one of my favorite dive bars in the area. I always have excellent service and the food is above average for bar food and you get it for a great price. Love this place!
