Food was very good. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The one thing I could say is the table we sat at was very high which made it kind of uncomfortable for me, since I am a short person.

Ordered the seafood noodle soup. Has shrimp scallops and crab along with vegetables and some very flavorful noodles paired with a great broth. It is really a meal within itself. It is my favorite item to get. Everything here is delicious and fresh.

Great asian food. Good variety. Easy to order off the website.

The spicy seafood soup is just incredible. Worth the trip there just for that. I really cannot say enough good things about it. The staff and owners are just so welcoming and friendly. One of the best restaurants that takes pride in their business. Lucky to have such a quality place in our community.

Sushi was very good, pan fried pork buns were great!

The staff were amazing. It was my birthday and I was there celebrating on my own and they made me feel extra special. They sang happy birthday and even gave me a complimentary glass of wine. It was special. Thanks allot guys. I will be coming back for sure!!! BTW, the food was exceptional too! They have an extensive menu and I didn't know what to get and the lady that got me seated recommended what I should have after she asked me about my pallet and whether or not I liked spicy food etc. This was just an awesome experience!!!

Ordered for the first time tonight. Great quality and portions. We both ordered the tofu pad Thai and the tofu was crispy and the sauce was excellent. Will definitely order again!

Haven't been here in quite a few years. They've since remodeled and changed their menu, slightly. My girlfriend and I were impressed. Service was excellent. Food was great and didn't take long at all. Highly recommended. We live 20 miles away but we'll continue to go back. Also, order the Peking Duck. You won't be disappointed.

Went on Christmas day. Was there for 2 hours and the place was packed the whole time. Sat at the bar, received great service. Ordered sushi as an app and was very impressed. Got red curry and was blown away. Very flavorful but could have been a little spicier, but I also enjoy very spicy food. 1st time there and will definitely make a trip back in the future.

Food is consistently excellent. The service is professional and quick. They’ve adapted to the carry out only requirement and we were happy that quality hasn’t changed. I highly recommend the lo mein and sushi. Prices are higher than normal but it’s completely worth it.

Some places stay the same others realize that they have to stay one step ahead of the competition. House of Hunan is latter, they want to win!
They keep adding fresh items on the menu. A person can go there often and never eat the same dish twice, making it feel like a new experience. I 1st ate there decades ago and I was blown away. It is still delightful to eat there today. They are a tad pricey, but that keeps the crowd down. I always feel like the service, selection, atmosphere and quality make it a strong value.

This is still probably the go-to Chinese restaurant in the greater Akron area. The food is better than typical take-out, but the menu is more traditional than P.F. Chang's or restaurants like that. Their menu also isn't strictly Chinese; they have traditional Japanese, Thai, and other Asian dishes. They even have a sushi bar. I've had a couple different cocktails there as well and they were all excellent. The interior was also updated a few years ago to be more modern and cozy. The servers are always friendly and polite as well.
Now, the one thing that has to be mentioned is the pricing. It is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. Do I think you get what you pay for though? Absolutely. I think this is a great spot for a date or a business-oriented lunch/dinner.

This place has a great atmosphere and even better food. I have been coming here for 10 years or more and never anything but a good experience. Sushi here is quite good and you have the option to sit at the sushi bar as its made. Great place for dates or special occasions. Food is some of the best asian cuisine and good value for the price. I've recommended this place to friends and family throughout the years and they all agree. This is a wonderful dining experience.

Highest quality of any Chinese/Thai/Asian fusion takeout and I’ve had many. Menu prices are about 25% higher than a cheap Chinese place but the quality is 200% greater. The shrimp are much larger, and the chicken and beef are clearly fresh and a whole ‘nother level.

I so want to give this place one star and have you all stay away, but I can't. Food was outstanding, didn't get sushi so that is why 4 stars. Wait...forget it. Can't do it. 5 it is....Staff...unreal...have Nicole make you a nice drink, get some wonderful food and enjoy this hidden gem of Akron. Just not fair to keep this place to ourselves...WAIT...go to the Downtown location and we can sit back at this one....perfect. Seriously, visit and enjoy.

The food here is amazing. I had a big order that included a lot of things I've never tried before and I was not let down. The tonkotsu ramen was to die for. A huge variety of asian food leaves nothing to be desired. The drunken noodles is definitely something I will order again. This place is an hour away from my home and worth every second of the drive. I highly recomend. 10 out of 10. Without a doubt I will be coming back.

Consistently for the past more than the last 39 years this restaurant has impressed. I went there the first week it opened. I order a bloody Mary, hot. And sure enough! It came in a coffee cup. I got better at ordering. Twice Cooked Pork, some sweet and hot shrimp dish I figured out how to make, but don't recall the name of. Once, the fancy dinner. I forget what it was called. Emperor's special or something? You had to order at least a day in advance and my goodness, the food! Platter after platter of absolutely beautiful food, elegantly presented. This was in the '80s and it was $50 a head. And worth every cent.
They have morphed over the years, keeping up with changes in American tastes and palates. I don't have the faintest idea if it is “authentic”. And what does that even mean, anyways? The food is beautiful, the menu wide ranging, fresh, and the menu keeps up with the times. So I can state with absolute certainty that it is authentic Suen artistry. And really, what more is there to great food?
