Bigleaf Maple Bakery

Great, tasty, flaky French-style pastries, along with house-made bagels and macarons. No line, so a great alternative to the "other" bakery in town.

I discovered this bakery last week. Don’t know how I have walked by it before, but I love croissants and all of their croissants have been amazing. My favorite is their ham and Swiss, but their butter and almond croissants are just as great. They have bagels, breads, macarons and various other things but I haven’t been able to bring myself to order something other than the croissants because they are so good!

Well worth trying!!!

We visited for the first time this morning. The ham and cheese croissant was sooo good! The twice-baked almond croissant? Amazing!! We enjoyed sitting at one of the bistro tables outside in the shade. My husband said the locally made coffee was very good as well. Check out their FB page for hours open, as this new small business has limited hours, but worth the wait! Such a wonderful addition to Poulsbo. We'll definitely go again!

Wandered by early one morning and was drawn in by the delicious aroma of cinnamon rolls, a personal favorite. Yes, I had one and it was fantastic! Also tried bagels, and they were great! Nice atmosphere, friendly people, I’ll be back!!!

Got an order of assorted baked goods Big Maple Bakery for my birthday. It was amazing. Not only did they go above and beyond in terms of their service but every single item was amazing, from the flaky croissants to the rich scones to the decadent macaroons. Don't sleep on this place!

The pastry tastes amazing. They are not overly sweet so you can taste all of the flavors. The Ham and Swiss are unbelievable good.

This place is just wow! It’s kind of tucked away in the downtown area but I am so glad I found it. I just tried a one of their sausage croissants (there’s a vegan option too btw) and it was fantastic! Perfectly flaky and savory mmm! I’m headed back for another haha.

Probably one of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had!!!! Their croissants are amazing too!

I came across this place by accident but I was happy I did. The croissants are amazing! Okay I've tried just about everything now and it's all great.

Everything is delicious. Good ingredients equals great flavor. You can tell that they do their best . Good coffee is also a bonus.

Delicious! Especially flake pastry items. Hard to find because no sign on awning. Next to Happy Hour Saloon. Also have bagels.

Amazing baked goods with a good variety. Excited to have a new option downtown. Great service. Only place that has a good variety of french MACAROONS this side of the water.

We tried the blueberry muffin, maple scone, and little almond cake! All soooo good! A new favorite!

If I could curse I would. One fn great croissant! These folks know what they are doing. Can’t wait for next cheat day.
