The answering service for these people completely dropped the ball following my foot surgery. My Dr. (whom I think is great) informed me if I had breakthrough pain to call and they could help me. I did, and each time, they told me to call back and ask again the next day, then would tell me again they can’t help because they’re not open on the weekend (my surgery was on a Friday, with a holiday on Monday. I now will have to go to the ER if I want any chance to reduce my pain enough to sleep. Pretty ridiculous.

A long one, but worth reading!
Directed to Dr. Applebaum by worker compensation by my work. I really didn’t want to question this Dr’s professionalism. Disappointed on everything from this experience! More than 3/4 complete rotary cuff tear, as well as other issues with my left shoulder from fall at work. My first visit with Dr. Applebaum he talked to me about five minutes and directed me to take ibuprofen and go back to driving eight hours a day driving and unloading truck, fully mounted truck tires, side steps and other truck accessories. Could not bear the pain and went back to Dr. Applebaum and he hesitantly suggested an MRI where they seen the results of the severity! NOW he suggest surgery after surgery I did therapy over six months, every visit I told them I was experiencing pain and swelling, and I can’t lift my arm higher than my chest. Never have and never could since the surgery. Therapy noted last visit that there was nothing more they could do and suggested seeking other options, MRI. (That is what I been telling to everyone).
NOW WITHOUT a follow up after my last therapy session with Dr. Applebaum this Dr wrote me off to go back to work to Workmen’s Comp. driving in unloading trucks with no restrictions!
I’m currently seeking measures to make this ordeal correct. Get my arm working again.
I’m a 60 year old veteran, who always worked laboriously jobs.
Without my shoulder in working order what am I supposed to do?

My work is demanded I go back to work, workers comp has filled to stop compensating me because of Dr. Applebaum’s failure to order another MRI. And released me to work with no restrictions..

Absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE..

Worst doctor experience of my life and office experience was no better. Was not listened to at all. My pain was completely dismissed and they left patients waiting in the waiting room for an hour and a half and the only reason they finally told the truth about the delay was because it was after 4 pm and coming up on closing time.

Leah the office receptionist is by far the worst person you could have in the office. Had surgery called because stitches were bleeding and would not stop. Leah hung up on me 3 times that day. Asked her to give Karen several message to call me and Karen never called. Called again and each time I got Leah she proceeded to hang up on me again for the next three days when I need to speak to my doctors nurse. Went in office recognized her voice as the one that kept hanging up on me for a week. Made the doctor aware and staff and said it will be taken care of. I called again because I needed help with the patient portal and again Leah proceeded to hang up on me again 3 times. Called again and blocked my number and got Leah again and asked why she was hanging up on me yet again, I then asked to speak to the supervisor she started yelling at me and said they are not here! I then drove up there and demanded to speak with supervisor Carrie Mierzejewski basically came into to room to speak to me and said she would look into this. Leah had already had 3 complaints this morning from patients coming into the office before I ever came in for my appointment. I have been going here over 4 years and never once was I treated like this. I am shocked that Carrie would allow this. I can not even call from any number once Leah realizes its me she hangs up immediately. This is jeopardizing quality care of patients that have surgery and can not even get through to the nurse and Leah lying and saying she is giving the nurse Karen the messages. This should not be happening in this doctors' office. It is putting patients at risk and health safety at risk.
Dr. Chase and Karen her nurse are awesome. Bring back Elise she was awesome. Kara and Lisa the office staff are awesome. Leah needs to go she is putting patient's safety in danger and not giving message to appropriate staff when needed.

Went with a serious pain in my foot, she did a shot and told me she wasn't doing anything else and when I asked her for a referral, she wanted to send me to her coworker. It's been since June of 2019 and its March of 20. I want it cut off at this point I'm in so much pain I'm adding this in March of 2021. I'm still in horrible pain. She missed the broken foot I ended up finding out I had walked around on for over 2 and a half years now. I now have nerve damage. Thank you Harrington Physicians services for basically destroying my life. I can't work if I can't stand more than 15 minutes at a time. Good luck here

Great doctor experience but terrible administrators. They lost my previous appointment and told me that I never booked one. They also billed me but never made a file on it so they have no record of me ever even showing up to their office and now I'm getting phone calls from collectors. What a joke, fire your staff and maybe it'll work better.

Those working in the receptionist area could use some better training. They’re unprofessional on the phone in the way they speak to you and “take messages” but you’ll never get a call back. Harrington has gone down hill since they were taken over by UMass.

My appointment went well with Dr M but nightmare getting this office to follow up with anything. Not sure where the communication breakdown is but poor for customer service
