Shillito Park

So much fun for the family, to be had here. My husband and I set up our chairs in a nice shaded area of the park, and let the kids have FUN. Nice spacious park with lots to do and they have on site bathrooms.

One of my favorite parks to visit here in Lexington. Easiest disc golf course in Lexington, but that doesn't mean It's not decent. The new baskets are fantastic. There's a pool that is open during the summer, spots to barbecue with tables and shade, running paths that go all around the facility , and probably a lot more I haven't even seen.

Expansive park with an aquatic center, tennis courts, disc golf, walking trail, lots of shelters, baseball field, and of course, an awesome playground. It has lots of tunnels and nooks and crannies for kids to hide in. Lots of spinning parts and some high slides. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this playground if you’re a helicopter parent- you will have a conniption. But if you can handle it, the kids will love to climb and jump and twirl and swing and run and play with the water feature. They will have a blast!

My favorite go-to spot with my pup. Plenty of green spaces, trails, and parking spots for you and for your friends and family to come over!

I love bringing my hiking chair and my pup’s toys here to hang out and play fetch with him.

Loved taking my 5 year old here. We had so much fun. There are bench tables very close to the jungle gyms so I was able to eat lunch and watch him play. There's plenty to do. Fun, unique things like xylophones to play. There's a water fountain and bathroom near by as well.

Huge park with many different sections. Large playground, many picnic table enclosures, huge fields, clean, overall pleasant place. There are multiple courts, and fields for various sports, and a public pool.

A nice park for a snowy stroll with dog. It was interesting to watch the locals play disc golf. Edit: Now that the snow is gone, we've found the long, paved trail around this huge park that takes an hour to walk. Shilito park is a great place to catch the sunset.

It was honestly amazing our youth group we go there and usually play volleyball and hang out and chill and have fellowship and it's amazing and peaceful 😁

Possibly the most kid/parent friendly park I've seen. Absolutely perfect. Grounds are clean and didn't really see beat up equipment like other parks. Drinking fountains and water bottle fill up with restrooms.

Great 18 hole course with good signage and new baskets recently installed. Very popular, the course was crowded by the time I finished my round on a Sunday morning.

This park is unique from others in the area. This one has updated and inclusive features. Great family friendly outing! Aside from the playground there is ample space, picnic tables, and lush grass to relax. The pool is awesome as well! I wish there was a dog park here though.

The newly rebuilt park is so fun! There's plenty of shade on hot days. Our kids played for hours without getting bored.

One of Lexington’s nicest parks. The old wooden playground is still around. Plenty of running room!

A wonderful park and it has all the services of bathrooms, playgrounds, and close yo restaurants and Fayette Mall

Always love coming to this park with my family. I recommend always bring extra tp, baby wipes and sanitizer. Sometimes it's too busy an run outta tp

I play ultimate Frisbee here and the park is very nice and the park itself is cool and very fun to play at. And the restrooms are normally really clean

One of, if not the best, playgrounds in Lexington! Came here a lot as a child and now my own son gets to enjoy it. There are so many things to do here. From small picnics on the many lawns to renting a pavilion for large parties, this park can accommodate it all!

There is so much to do here. It's absolutely one of the best parts in Lexington and has many things to do that children and adults can enjoy for hours.

Went hammocking. Very pleasant experience, birds chirping, people playing sports, as well as walking their dogs. Great park in Lexington!
