Olverson's Lodge Creek Marina

Best down home marina. Very friendly staff, and help at the gas pier. Their pump out station is always working, unlike coles point marina, theirs is always broken.

Have a boat there! Have met so many nice people would like to keep a boat there full time! The owner and general manager and Doc Master are great people! I'm talking about the owner the woman, Steven the general manager and Brad the doc master! All great people! I recommend anyone to keep a boat there! The place is absolutely great!

Friendly Marina staff, MTOA marina, covered and uncovered slips, club house with cleen showers, outdoor swimming pool, two boat ramps, good fishing and crabbing. Facilities are for boat slip and RV site renters. Boat ramp fee is 5 bucks and includes a day's parking.

We had a great time with Captain Dave Fisher and his mate Mark.. They took us to all the right spots to fish...

Olverson's Marina is easy to get to via a well marked and deep channel. The facilities are in good condition. They have a heated pool, hot showers, toilets and a nice community kitchen area that is heated in the winter. The people are very friendly and super laid back. I've been to marinas where they look sideways at you for doing any work on your boat. But Olverson's has no such issues. It was kind of amazing to see just how laid back the management was in this regard. And even before I was a customer they invited me to Christmas dinner at the marina where they laid out a generous tasty spread. I really wish it was going to be a long term destination, even live aboard, place for me and the boat but I have other plans. But if I didn't I would definitely keep my boat at Olverson's. No wonder it's always near capacity.

They are not kidding that they are the friendliest marina around. Fred and his daughter made us feel like family. Courtesy cars to go for groceries or dinner in town. Go to have Mexican...it is the best food and the staff is friendly. We will definitely be back to stay!

They are terrific there, very helpful very relaxed as far as our dog is concerned! They give him treats every day we don't have to keep him on the leash during the week when there are few people around. Max loves it here!

We just loved it here. Very friendly and helpful in all ways. Prices were extremely reasonable and they have a pool! We hit the Trifecta!

Make you feel like family. Fun and friendly marina with deep water in the channel. We have been at this marina for a year and have made so many new friends. My home away from home.

Was at Olversons for a club rendezview late last summer. This is a spacious hidden gem of a "down-home marina complex on the Virginia side of the mouth of the Potomac River. It is well upstream from the Potomac River's mouth in a rather well sheltered old time marina with plenty of dockage...much of which is covered slips! There is plenty of parking and yes, camping or RV space.

You'll be far from crowded metropolitan cities and hectic pace.

This is a great stop for either cruising sailboats or cruising motor craft to rest and wind down. It is a fine spot after a day's easy cruise form Solomons Island in the North. About 2 days from D.C or Alexandria up the Potomac River, and a nice easy cruise from Deltaville and a comfortable two days from Hampton Roads.

No need to "push that throttle or tack too much...Call the marina they will save a slip for you!
