Seong's Sushi Bar

Ordered takeout! The sushi, miso soup, and sesame honey chicken was INCREDIBLE. Great egg rolls. Everything was packaged very well and got home still warm. Our new favorite place!

The food is always yummy. We get the Mongolian Beef, Cashew Chicken and the Baked Salmon Roll! No reason to switch up. We love these dishes!

The cozy sushi shack is located almost downtown, which gives you plenty of street parking while still being close to all of Juneaus' main attractions. Very nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. The wide selection of fresh made sushi and hot traditional dishes are great too.

My favorite restaurant in town. Staff are absolutely top notch and we love them. Attentive, friendly and quick service. We also travel a lot and you would think the bigger coastal cities would have good sushi, but nope, nothing is as good as Seongs. I’ve been getting the Futomaki for 20 years and it’s hands-down the best vegetarian sushi I’ve ever had (the smoked tofu bit sets it apart from everywhere else!). My only wish is that they were open on Sundays in the summer because I find myself craving their delicious food every day of the week and on a sunny Sunday in the summer, Seongs would be on the top of the list (not a bad thing, just love it that much). If you’re on the fence about where to get sushi in Juneau, there’s no comparison. Just put in an order and let your tastebuds be the judge. You won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking for vegetarian sushi, trust me. This is it.

I requested tofu to be added to the veggie fried rice and it was excellent. The sushi is always very tasty. It's my personal opinion that they have the best sushi in town for a good price.

They require you to have reservations to dine in and they didn't have an available table so we ordered take out and my Chicken Fried Rice was so delicious and my son ordered Mongolian beef and he said it was the best 😋 ❤ worth checking out. Was an Awesome dinner. Definitely will be back to order and dine in when available 😊

We have lived five blocks from Seong's for years and finally made it there for dinner last week. We should have gone years ago. The menu has a pretty standard selection of meat, chicken and vegetable Asian dishes, with a great selection of sushi and rolls. The food was well prepared and tasty, and the spicy dishes were good and spicy.

The restaurant is cosy, and the night we went, it was full. The service was very good for it being so busy, and we will definitely return.

Our family loves eating here -- the service and the food are great. It is especially convenient for take-out. Now and then I call on a Friday night as I'm leaving work, and pick up dinner for 4 on the way home. It's a great solution at those times when you don't feel like going out and you're too worn out to cook dinner. We all have our favorite menu items -- some of us like sushi and others like the stir-fry dishes. An added bonus is that we always have plenty of food left over for lunch the next day.

I finally made it in for dinner (take out) and WOW, this was the best meal I've had at a restaurant in Juneau. Some of the highest quality sushi I've had outside of Japan (and on par with high end sushi restaurants in Japan). Their red clam sashimi was one of the best and most surprising things I've ever had. Highly highly recommend.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Juneau. The Mongolian Beef is the dish for me. I was lucky enough to get to enjoy it twice this trip.
Even after 12 years it's deliciously exactly as I remembered, which made it even better. 😀 Thanks for the best dinner, every time!

Amaaaaazing sushi. Some of the best I've ever had! We got a sushi combo (nigiri that came with miso soup), a roll, and sashimi, and it was perfect. The rice was perfect, and the fish was sooo fresh. And everything was reasonably priced too. They are reservation only for dine in, but it was thoroughly worth it.

As tourists coming off of a cruise for a few hours looking for some good local food, I'm so glad my wife and I stumbled upon this quaint mom and pop restaurant. The rolls were delicious(ordered the caterpillar, hot night, and Las Vegas roll) and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend this place. A special thanks to the chef and his family.

Seongs is the best sushi bar in town. I enjoy eating there.

The hostesses are incredibly kind and warm, and came over to check in just the right amount. One hostess knows my friend by name as he's been coming in since high school. The fish is fresh, the rolls are creative, and they have non-sushi options as well.

Love it best sushi in town, good service and the way they have organized their take out is fast and easy to pick up!
