Cafe Réveille

I had some time to kill and needed a place to post up on my laptop. I was delighted to find this place, with both indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed the dirty chai and the falafel bowl! I’ve marked this as a place to stop when I’m in the area :)

Love this spot for a quick lunch during my workday.
They have really delicious healthy bowls, with veggies and vegan options.
I have tried their crunchy bowl and their tahini squash bowl and both were yummy.
My friend has gotten the acai bowl and it was a little over frozen, a small complaint because it came to temp relatively quickly.
It's best to come here when the weather is nice, because they don't have a ton of indoor seating. It was raining when we came in today and we were lucky to snag the last table. On a dry day you can enjoy their outdoor tables.

Very nice cafe for breakfast. It is on a quiet street (occasional train nearby). The staff were very nice. The outdoor seating simple yet very pleasing. We had breakfast on a Sunday morning and we had avery nice morning. The coffee was excellent (quantity small by Starbucks standards). Eggs and potato wedges with fresh sliced avocado was fantastic. Highly recommended for weekend breakfast.

Good coffee, but what makes this place stand out is the food menu. It's short and sweet, with enough variety to keep it interesting, and really quality ingredients. I loved the breakfast burrito. People frequently bring kids and pets and the dining space is open to the patio, so don't expect it to be super quiet.

So impressed! Great prices, quality ingredients! We had the breakfast bowl, breakfast sandwich and the home style breakfast and we loved them all! Will be back next time we’re in town!

Woke up hungry and ready to eat🙀Found this little beauty not far from my hotel, street parking, easy to find. Ordered a breakfast burrito, thinking it would be a typical grab and go. Short wait time, eye opening food moment. Best burrito I have ever had. I did not know tortillas could be that soft and stretchy. Now I see that other burrito places use stale burritos to feed us with thats why back home they tear easily! Very pleased with the spot, totally full eating half of the burrito. Must’ve been Yukon Gold potatoes or some thing because potatoes were hittin’.

Once I discovered cafe réveille it changed my life! There is surprisingly a lack of cute brunch places in the bay, but this place is the perfect spot for quality food & adorable ambiance. My girlfriends & I love coming here in the morning or stopping by in the day for a matcha!

I love this place and come here really regularly. The staff is amazing and super nice! Their breakfast bowl (vegan option) is my most favorite Bay area vegan breakfast offering. Food and coffee is on point. Indoor/outdoor seating and very dog friendly. I have taken a lot of my friends and family here and everyone loves it too.

So, I've been making bimonthly trips down to Berkeley recently, and have discovered this amazing place for incredible food close to my workshop. I have been mostly amazed at the food quality and the healthiness and deliciousness of the food. My favorite has been their brunch item on the weekend with roasted potatoes, poached eggs, arugula salad and sage. It's really good!!! I also fell in love with their psychedelic salad! Their roasted chicken breast is also delicious. I don't drink coffee, so I can't comment about that. But seriously healthy delicious food!!!!! I eat it every day that I'm there!

The Filipina lady working there gave me service like no other. At first she looks scary as if she’ll steal your soul and send you into a dark abyss. But really I just got lost in her eyes. She made my coffee in lightning speed. Idk if it was the espresso shot or the amazing service but i stayed awake all night reminiscing on this wonderful wonderful experience. Thank you Filipina lady you’re an inspiration

Very nice little coffee shop and restaurant. Had an Americano coffee and goat sausage breakfast burrito. Very tasty, nice staff, calm atmosphere.

They slow roast their beans so you can really taste all the fancy and exotic flavors the coffee has to offer! The staff is always very nice and helpful and the interior design is something to take in, for sure.

Great place to get work done. WiFi is a tad slow and no power sockets but the staff is friendly, great coffee, and good food!

I've been here twice. Both times I got the Shakshuka cause it's crazy good! Don't skip on the iced latte with oat milk either!

Açaí bowl was awesome and so was the squash bowl. Cute outdoor patio that is dog friendly.

Do try their savory bowls like this tahini roasted squash with lentils, brown rice, quinoa, poached egg, rooted vegetables, sesame, and green tahini

I love café Réveille. The coffee's always great, their food is simple and delicious. And this spot in Berkeley is so pretty and quiet. It's a great spot to work on a beautiful day.

I love this small chain and what food they have to offer. Ambiance is lovely, dog friendly and it’s always sunny/airy.
For those coming to work, keep in mind there are no plugs to charge laptop. Staff offered to do it at the counter but it means you have to wait sometime until battery charged.

Cool little cafe and coffee shop. Unique breakfast and really good coffee and matcha. Pro tip: Ask for their house hot sauce and house preserves for your toast

Great coffee shop in Berkeley. Great ambiance. It’s not coffee but also a food. I haven’t tried their full menu but bakery goods. Coffee is top notch! I am regular at their SF location.
