When I needed to rent a Viola for my daughter, I went to several different stores in town and this was the place that I chose to stay. They were friendly and helpful and took the time to fit my daughter for the perfect viola. Their rental program is a wonderful option, as opposed to letting her use one from the school that didn't fit her properly. I have been using their instrument rental program for over a year now and have been very please. It's been so easy and affordable and I recommend them to everyone that I can.

We have been buying violins & guitars from Four Strings located inside of the Violins, Paintballs and Food Storage store on Bluff Street for several years now. We started shopping there when my almost 17 year old was 10 and needed his first violin. They had an awesome rent-to-own program that I have never heard of anywhere else offered. This made it extremely affordable. They didn't charge any interest and split the cost of the violin over the course of a year or two for us. Then when that was paid off it was time to upgrade my son to a nicer violin and they gave me the entire credit back from what our purchase on the other one is to trade it in. So we upgraded to one that cost a few hundred dollars and barely had to pay anything and broke that up over the course of a year. Then we did it again for one that was worth a couple of thousand dollars that they had on sale for a thousand. And again they traded in our what I would consider medium grade violin towards it for the full credit of what we paid. It's unheard of and amazing! So of course when we needed a couple of guitars, this is the store we went to! I will not go anywhere else. And I have nothing but good to say about them and would recommend to anyone interested in buying an instrument. Oh yeah, we also got 10% off of all music accessories and music books because we were customers of theirs. I might be crazy but I think I even remember getting 10% off of the Mountain House backpacking dinners that I bought there. That's just cool! Thank you Four Strings for making a mom's life so much less expensive and easier. I love that my kids love music and I love that you make it affordable!

Four Strings is so fabulous! I've been renting my cello there since I started playing two years ago. When I was moving to a bigger size, the staff was super friendly, and they helped me find the perfect instrument! They've always helped me find the right accessories for my cello and bow, like when I needed a nicer rosin. They have a large selection of instruments so that you can get the one that is perfect for you! When my cello needed new strings, they were happy to help me find the right ones. Even when my cello needed a major repair, they did it very well, and it's been playing fabulously! If you're going into orchestra in one of the schools nearby, they know which music books you'll need, and they have them there so you can buy them right away! Everyone there is just super helpful!

We bought our daughter a cello through their rent to own program. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and we got a beautiful instrument for a good price and very affordable payment. I would highly recommend Four Strings to anyone in the market for a quality instrument at a good price.

We bought our first violin here and LOVE the customer service. We also love that they have every book we need for our child class! Brad does an excellent job at helping you know which instrument is right for you. (I was clueless!)

YFSM was my first rental experience. Their prices and customer service of been outstanding. The staff was respectful of an upgrade request with ease. There is no push to sell. They are knowledgeable and helpful with my lack of violin understanding. We ended up moving during our rental period. They allowed us to continue our contract wish will be paid in full in a months time. I wish we had a store of equal price and service were we currently live. I would rent from them again.

I rented/bought my viola here and we rented our sons violin. When he out grew his smaller one it was so easy to take it back and they gave us the next size up. And there customer service was fantastic! I had a string that kept breaking and they found the problem and fixed it for free! There rent to own program is fantastic!

When I first started violin 10 years ago, Four Strings helped me pick out the best violin for me. The rent to own system is amazing and made it very affordable for my family and I. If I have complications with my instrument, such as needing strings replaced, or needing the sound post adjusted, I can always count on them to fulfill my needs. When you need to move up to the next size, you can trade your instrument in and get the next size up. This comes with a bow, case, and rosin. Four strings knows which schools need what books in orchestra, so you can conveniently pick up music books for a great price. When I broke my violin, I was able to take it in and get it repaired fast and very affordable. Four strings has saved my life in music, and I wouldn't pick any other store. 20/10 would recommend!!!!

We have bought 2 violins and 2 cellos here. Really like the trade up policy where we got full credit for what we had paid for the 1st violin and 1st Cello toward the 2nd ones when we traded them in for the next size up. Great way to economically help kids grow through the sizes of instruments they will use over their musical career.

I have always loved music and had an interest in all types of instruments. I learned to play the piano when I was just 7 and now I own a baby grand and I love it. I have played a lot of different instruments from four string I own a violin form there and I love it. At first I got a cello and then I decided that it was to much to work with in the situation I was in, so they let me tread it for a violin and transferred all the money I had paid over to the violin. I know a lot of people that go to four strings and they all have good things to say about it. One other thing that I liked is the automatic payment plan, you never have to worry about calling and paying your bill and the payments are always small and affordable. Love you guys, Thanx.

I absolutely love the staff here. They are knowledgeable and friendly. Also they have a"trade up" program that they will give you credit on your existing instrument toward a better one as your student develops and grows in talent. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who has a child in orchestra in the Washington county area ☺☺☺

Its a great place. They were a lot of help with me getting my ukelele and helped me get exactly what i wanted for a good deal. Also fun tactical store. Very fun and strange but great store.

I love coming in here! they let me try all the instruments I want without pressuring and pushing anything on me, and were very personable. I will be going back if I need any more string instruments.
