Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center Ellensburg

This is an older hotel making big improvements! Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and the pool was wonderful! There is new paint and carpeting (currently being installed). The AC worked perfectly and made the stay on 100+ degree days very nice!

We have an older dog and requested that we get a ground floor since there isn't an elevator. Milo worked his magic and got us a room that made access very easy! We very much appreciated him going above and beyond in a full hotel... Thank you!

The front desk girl on 8/10/23 evening time was very nice and professional. She was also very helpful in helping me obtain entrance to my room.

I was super annoyed that the lock on my room door would not work correctly .Got locked out twice because the lock on the door is malfunctioning, once at 10:30pm. Pretty sure it wasn't user error. Lock needs to be looked at or replaced.

Overall this is a decent place, nice pool. I'll stay again.

We came in after a long drive to a warm welcome from the front desk. We didn’t have a reservation, but the young lady was able to get us a room that matched our specifications beautifully! The continental breakfast included so many options, waffles, and biscuits & gravy among them! The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, quiet, & clean. We look forward to staying there again on the way back home!

We have stayed here 8 times in the last two years when we have come to see our son attending CWU. It might be an older building, BUT it is clean and the beds are comfortable. This time has been amazing. The staff has gone above and beyond their duties. See my son had emergency surgery. The staff has checked on him, given me utensils and other items outside of breakfast time, gave us yogurt outside of breakfast time for him and just all around are great. I have nothing negative to say.

Stayed here last week and was very impressed by this last minute hotel! It's close to several coffee shops too! The service was friendly and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was good but above all my room was very clean! I would stay here again if I'm ever passing through ellenburg.

This was a very convenient location to stay at while visiting family in the area. It was a great price and the staff was super friendly and accommodating to me and my family. I will definitely book with them next time as well.

The bed was clean and comfortable, the hallways were old but i didn't care I am not sleeping in them, the heater in the room worked great. breakfast was great with waffles and sausage and eggs, the pool was old and the pool deck was dirty but the water was sparkling clean and warm and I enjoyed it so much. I would rather stay here than fancy places without pool and breakfast.

It is an older hotel, and some things need to be replaced, like the carpet in the hallway and the chairs in the rooms but the beds were super comfortable! And even though there was a lot of people there that night, it was very quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Walking distance to several fast food places.

We stayed here during a 3-day concert at the Gorge Amphitheater which was an easy 45 min drive. Great place to stay and the entire staff was so friendly and helpful at all times. Housekeeping has to be requested which we forgot but one of the maids always asked if we would like vacuuming or clean towels when we walked down the hall. They are currently undergoing some renovations which means not all services are available such as breakfast but you are made aware of this at the time of booking so this was not a disappointment for us. We were able to check in around noon for a small fee for which we were very grateful given the long drive. Would definitely book this hotel again if we decide to make the trip again in a few years!

They were wonderful! The staff worked hard to make a great experience for all our group, we can't wait to go again. They were cleaning and setting up every room we needed while doing major repairs. I can't wait to see how it will turn out.

I wish I could give 10 star's. After inquiring next door at the hotel by mistake and being told to leave I stopped at this hotel. I believe the man's name is Sage was totally AWESOME. He listened to my story about the "other" hotel and was more than happy to let us check in. We talked about gold mining and he was a great man to deal with. The female employee's and maintenance man were also totally awesome. ( I didn't want to leave them out). All were super friendly and helped with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a great place to stay and awesome staff. Thank you all so much for your hospitality,it really hard to find nowdays. You ALL take your job seriously and are not there for a paycheck like some people are. You all deserve the credit for your hotel being successful. I will be back in the spring and do look forward to seeing you all again. Even though I can't leave a 10 star review I am doing it anyways lol ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had only booked one night midweek, because I was in town to take an exam at the University. When I arrived the young lady working at the front desk was super helpful when I asked her if there was a quiet place for me to continue to study after the checkout time, she made some suggestions and then said for an extra fee I could get a late check out and just stay in the room. PERFECT!! Just what I needed. Room was nice and clean, maids were nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

I made a reservation to stay at the Red Lion in Ellensburg for a week while I was in town for work. After making the reservation I read some of the reviews and was nervous about what I would find when I checked in. The hotel is older and needs new carpet in the hallway, but that doesn't really matter to me. I travel with a small dog and I don't like to pay super high pet fees. The Red Lion only charges $15. The room is clean and the bed is super comfy. The water pressure is phenomenal. The mini fridge and the microwave are requirements for me... and they work great. The rate was definitely below my budget. I will stay again for sure.

One of the best hotels/motels we have stayed in! The room (double queen) was very clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities. The staff, especially Tori , provided with 5 star treatment. Tori went above and beyond the call. She made us feel like true royalty!

Highly recommended! We will be back!

Staff was very pleasant. The room was very clean except for the bathroom being so small. But was very wonderful night, thank you.

We stayed here in July 2019. Though they were renovating and making improvements, the staff's customer service was top notch all the way around.
They did make one mistake and accidentally charged my card instead of the party who had originally booked the hotel. One phone call and within minutes they discovered the mistake and quickly corrected it.
The rooms are a tad older, but the location is great. It is very near anything you would want, grocery stores, restaurants and Starbucks lol.
Thankful for how the staff took care of us overall!

We just checked out and wanted to say thank you for a great weekend. The staff was accommodating and helpful after we had a set back to our check in twice. We understood that there was a large party leaving late and the manager Nila was super helpful with our needs. Hotel was quiet and in the middle of renovations so I was worried about work being done but all was quiet. The room was clean and orderly. The tv was big for a hotel. The pool was warm and refreshing. Breakfast was hot and plenty of options were available. Thank again team Red Lion!

Very late night rescue from Rick at the front desk! We were just passing through when one of us had a medical emergency that required an overnight stay at the local hospital. The rest of us didn't know where to stay, campsites were closed! Rick helped us out very late at night and we're incredibly grateful!!

This place has been getting a bad wrap due to construction going on. But I couldn’t see this causing any issue for our stay. We were only stopping overnight but would have gladly stayed longer if our circumstances allowed. We were greeted upon arrival at 1am by a very friendly hostess who got us checked in and helped us find our room. Everything was squeaky clean and our king bed was unbelievably comfy. We couldn’t have asked for much more!

Well, I went in skeptical...I'm usually the type to look for a deal and never read reviews. So I booked then looked. The reason for the stay, halfway meet up point for the weekend. Ellensburg has always been just a "stop and pee", "grab a bite to eat" pit stop, so I had no clue what to expect AT ALL. We stayed in a not yet renovated room, but clean. And yes the ac needs to be serviced, but not complaining. 😊 BUT, we also got to see the NEW rooms! We invited friends to visit for the day and they decided to stay and book as well! Super nice room btw 😉 Friendly staff, very accommodating. Overall a good experience. 👍 Read the reviews and staying on the weekends will help you avoid a bad experience. They take breaks on the weekends from the rennovating. Had a great time at the hotel and in Ellensburg!! You guys ROCK!! 🤘👏
