Beck's Shoes

As a podiatry student, I've always recommended patients to go to Beck's since the reps have been really amiable. Today's my first time actually going in to one and I had the amazing opportunity to speak to Brian. He's very knowledgeable and was more than willing to answer all my questions and bring in a multitude of shoes in order to get the perfect fit.

I'll defenitely reccomended all my patients to come here for their shoe needs.

After 7 years of living in the area - I finally ventured inside Beck's. Amidst fast casual eateries, thrift stores, and smoke shops, it is easy to walk past. Store was very clean/organized, and I really appreciated Brian the store manager. He was efficient and helpful (it appears that he has all the shoes memorized). I ended up purchasing a pair of Doc Martens, some clogs, and a pair of Ugg moccasins with discounts applied to all pairs of shoes. Will definitely come back.

Great local store! Wonderful service by friendly staff. Sadly, the owners are retiring and the future of the store is uncertain. On the bright side, I got these great Keen sandals for $50 off. So help them out and save a lot!

Excellent customer service & I was able to find a great pair of dress shoes just in time for a trip. Very friendly, awesome, & knowledgeable staff.

Went in to find a new pair of shoes. The salesperson was lovely, attentive but not cloying. They almost had what I needed, but not in the right color, so he told me how I could find it online. 0 sales pressure! When I ordered the shoes, I found out that their store's prices are actually lower than the online store's. So to recap: good shoes, great staff, good prices!

Oh my goodness! Ben is super helpful and knowledgeable. When you see the prices, don't get discouraged. They have really good quality choices of shoes and shoe inserts. I spent $80 on the insert. It is so worth it! It helps with my feet and back. Strongly recommend this shop.

Brian was very helpful. Although they were not able to fit me, because I have very hard to fit feet, he directed me to a couple of other places that might help. His honesty and integrity are very refreshing these days. I highly recommend them.

Found the perfect pair of Thorogood Moc toe steel toe for work here. Walked in, less than ten minutes later, walked out after trying three pairs in different sizes and noticing they carry the inserts I liked and have a sick selection of socks there for all occasions. Totally worth it.

Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Great Birkenstock selection. Been living in the east bay my whole life and don’t know why I haven’t stopped by until now. Thank you for such great service. My daughter loves her pair of “Birks” as she likes to say.

It's a nice shoe store in downtown Berkeley. The owner Brian is a good guy and helped me in getting some good shoes. Their shoes are not ridiculously overpriced but are a big step up from the junk you see in many of the department stores.
