It was my first time and I will return again. The service at the entrance was very friendly and they cared about making space for me and they recommended the bar and it was the only place that had two spaces and it was a good experience. The bartender was very friendly and was on hand. At all times attentive to our needs, Michael, the bartender, has good taste. He recommended some good sandwiches and some good drinks that went very well with the food. Of course, I will return frequently and if you plan to be at the bar, ask for Michael, a very young man, myself and my wife. we feel very good 👍🏻

Wonderful experience with great quality food, ambiance, and service. Highly recommend. Michael and the other servers were attentive and kept our glasses full the whole time. After having visited Barcelona (which is my favorite place EVER), I can definitely vouch that this place is LEGIT. The food was made fresh and tasted authentic, great for large groups or small intimate date nights. As a group of 5, we ordered a full paella, charcuterie, and tapas to share, along with a pitcher of sangria and wine flights.

I dined at this restaurant with some friends a while back, and we absolutely loved the delicious tapas and freshly cooked Paella de Mariscos. We paired our meal with some mimosas and felt like we were transported to Barcelona through the gastronomic journey offered by the restaurant. We also appreciated the rustic decor that added to the overall experience. It was such a wonderful dining experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Seriously good food, great service, and cool atmosphere. We came here as a group from work for dinner and ended up getting the chef tasting menu due to the size we had. There were so many tapas, many of which would have never been ordered if we all ordered 2-3 individually. The highlights for me were the labineh, pork belly, bone marrow, and marinated beef. The beet salad and burrata were also very good and a well needed break from protein. We had the meat paella and it was amazing, the crisp on the pan was perfect and the flavors were perfect. The service staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, and is pretty large overall. Definitely come here with an appetite and don’t be afraid to try something new, everything is delicious!

A very up scale restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. The staff waited on us immediately. The server was at our table within 3 minutes of us being seat. He went out the menu and gave us the wait time for each area of the menu. We received hot bread and olive oil, which was delicious. The Potato Tortilla was full of flavor, you can distinguish the taste between the potatoes and the onions. We ordered the Parillada Barcelona which comes with Strip Steak, Chicken, Pork Loin, and Gaucho Sausage. This feed four people. The Gaucho Sausage tasted like bratwurst from Germany. Only one thing we sent back was the Chicken, we felt like it needed to be cooked longer.

The delicious food was only outshined by Tim, our incredible server. He’s an actual wine scholar and helped me choose a wine that suited me perfectly. He also brought out a dish that we hadn’t thought to order but paired with it beautifully. Everything we tried was delicious, though the croquetas, scallops, and steak paillard were the stars. I’m not a local, but I will definitely be making this a stop every time I visit the area.

From my host, my server and Brian who came by and made sure my dining experience was well. The entire experience was delightful. My food was excellent, I will definitely return.

This place was 5 star all the way across! Girl's weekend trip.... found this place had good Google reviews and was near us, so we decided to try it.

The restaurant was a quick and easy stroll from the parking garage.

Outdoor and indoor atmosphere was relaxing AND fun....Nice crowd and no wait to be seated. We loved sitting outside across from a little grassy park and buildings beautifully lit.

Our waitress was top notch.... 👌 Great service, so helpful with suggestions and menu item descriptions, plus she was super friendly and fun. *When a server becomes part of your night being great, you know you have hit the jackpot!

Every single item we ordered was fabulous.... including the two deserts we shared at the end. After experiencing such unique and flavorful tapas dishes and decedent desserts, we were thrilled to get the bill and see how affordable the experience had been.

When planning our next road trip, returning to this area was bumped to the top of our list... and wanting to return to try other items at this delightful discovery of a restaurant was one of the primary reasons! :)

Went for cocktails, tapas, and desserts. I never knew a simple dish of carrots could be so amazing! The flan was also great - I tried flan a long time ago, and this blew me away too.

The complimentary bread was a bit tough - all of our party commented on that. It was still good though.

Servers might have been on a shift change or something, so it was a bit disorganized, but we also got double the attention, so maybe it was a plus after all.

The bar was loud, but we were able to be seated out of the chaos - quickly too, with a group of 6. Can’t wait to go back.

Everything about this place is phenomenal- the food, the ambiance, and especially the service- our server, Elijah was absolutely phenomenal. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, very kind and he made our experience one to remember for sure. The mussels, eggplant and swordfish tapas were absolutely amazing as well, especially when paired with one of their delicious red wines. Unfortunately we were using our corporate cards which have a tip limit, and had very little cash on us so we couldn’t give Elijah as fat of a tip as we wanted to, but at the very least we are wishing him many blessings just due to his wonderful service tonight. Please give this young man a promotion, or a raise. Give him something!

I’ve been to DC Barcelona many times and this was our first time here. The place is huge and has plenty of seating. The bar area is nicely lit and the bartenders are super friendly and can make some good drinks. The food as always was very good. We went for happy hour time and they have 1/2 off on sparkling wine and decently priced cocktails. We ordered some cheese for munching and a roasted pepper flat bread. Everything we ordered was delicious. We also loved the ambiance of the place. Definitely a must try!

Great food, great wine selection. The wait staff was friendly and responsive, but didn't appear to know the menu very well. Fortunately I knew what I was ordering. Everything was delicious!
I felt like I was back in Spain eating Tapas! The prices are very reasonable. My wife had a glass of wine, I had two, several plates of various tapas, dessert and two coffees and we got out of there for about $100. Very satisfied. I'll definitely be going back with my wife, friends and clients.

I had my 21st birthday here and it was great! They were really friendly and I had a really good sparkling wine here. I definitely recommend the seafood paella and the chorizo with figs was really tangy. The flan was rich and creamy, definitely will be coming back again!

Honestly cannot give this place anything short of 5 stars! We dine here frequently & the host is the first great experience you have as you walk through the door, he’s attentive & super friendly!! The atmosphere is always unmatched no matter what day of the week it is, the tapas menu is full of delicious options (highly recommend the shishitos & the croquettes for every visit) the sangrias are exquisite & the staff is friendly from the servers to the owners that come in and check on tables. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Really cool atmosphere, all the food was pretty good. The potatoes were awesome. Oysters were great.

It is loud and can’t hear much. Lot of action going on. The bar area packed. Pretty happening spot. Service was solid. Can't wait to be back!

We came here for Saturday late lunch and really enjoyed the meal. Potato tortilla, patata bravas, shishito pepper, eggplants, mushrooms, meatballs, basque cheesecake and white sangria were all very good. Mussels could be very good for others but was a bit too raw for us, and the kitchen kindly made it more well done for us. Croquetas was very crispy outside, and the inside filing was just okay. Paella was delicious but slightly burn this time. The restaurant manager proactively took it off our bill and promised to give us another one next time we visit - excellent service. Very good selection of Tapas. We went for brunch so there may have been different options. I thought the Pork Belly & Cauliflower were fantastic. Main event for me was the Paella Salvaje, which was also delicious. For dessert, a cheesecake which had a texture that was definitely unique, but so good!
Our server was very good too, answered a lot of questions and was helpful. Would love to come back.

Their hiring decision was a stroke of brilliance, evident in every dish we savored.

Overall, our experience at Barcelona Wine Bar was exceptional. The blend of incredible food, warm ambiance, and the chance to engage with the talented team made it an unforgettable evening. We left with full hearts and satisfied palates, already planning our next visit to this remarkable culinary haven.
