Texas Jack’s Barbecue

We enjoyed our barbecue meal here. I got the brisket nachos, which was delicious. My son got the brisket sandwich which was also good. The fries were fresh and the mac & cheese was very cheesy.
We also got the beef ribs, which is a big chunk of meat. Barbecue sauce is on the side.

After spending the last 17 years in San Antonio, Texas, I have finally found my new favorite Texas Barbecue in Virginia. It has taken me a year, but Wow! I found it. Texas Jack’s Barbecue is finger licking yummy to the tummy! We enjoyed the atmosphere, the decor, the prompt and friendly service, and the menu options available.

Everything we ordered was absolutely cooked and seasoned to the highest level of perfection. It was like going home for the Christmas or Thanksgiving season to eat your families’ favorite holiday meal.

Oh and I loved their branding too. That is always extra special when a restaurant understands the importance of serving good quality food and creating the emotional attachments to their brand. They did that. Their logo is everywhere. Love it.

Stopped in for a late lunch. We had the best service with some outstanding food! I had the brisket sandwich with Mac & cheese on the softest bun! My mom has the pulled pork Everything was melt in your mouth.

Then there was the mention of German Chocolate cake. I am never one to turn down a good cake. The pecan frosting was loaded with pecans and the chocolate frosting was thick, dark, decadent chocolate.

I went there on a weekend during brunch time. I could have tried their brunch menu but I decided to go with their sampler with 2 sides. The portion is good for 2 people. I chose Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts and they both tasted delicious. The meat were very well done especially the ribs! I would definitely come back to try their brunch menu next time.

Loved the flavors. I’ve driven by here many, many times and not really paid attention. One evening we decided to give it a go and are glad we did. There’s free parking by the restaurant for starters and once inside, we were immediately seated. The setting is casual and comfortable, great for family and friends wanting great food and a great place to hang out. Service was great as we all ordered the meat sampler, and a brisket egg roll (must try) for an appetizer. For sides we all had different things. Collard greens. Mac and cheese. Beans. Coleslaw. Potato salad. Esquites. We were all stuffed after eating only half of our meal.

I ordered the wings and was disappointed. But who orders wings at a BBQ joint… lucky my BF shared his meat with me. Sat at the bar and this place gets busy! The parking lot is horrible with ice and idiots that parked in the no parking making it hard for me to exit.

Great bbq joint. Not a busy place too lunch time. Employees were very friendly. They have parking on the side of the building. Adjacent was a whisky bar of them. They have beer pitchers and all. Food was great. Memosas were great too. Recommend the nachos and cryspy checken sandwitch.

This was our first time in this specific area and decided to trying out this restaurant. The staff and our server were very nice, friendly and helpful. We actually got there 45 minutes early and they accommodated us, we didn't have to wait and was shown to our table. The atmosphere was warm, cozy and inviting. Our appetizer and meal came out about 10 & 15 minutes after ordering. Food was on point, definitely well prepared and simply tasted good.. I definitely recommend this spot for small and large plates...

Loved the brisket! Brisket is very juicy and just melted in my mouth. The brussels sprouts is not bad for a side, good combination with the meat. The pulled pork is also not bad but definitely not as good as their brisket and ribs.

We came in for dinner on Tuesday night and the food was fantastic. We didn’t expect such a good bbq spot in Arlington but we are glad to have found this place. I’ll say the only thing we didn’t enjoy was the ribs. They weren’t fall off the bone unfortunately.

Our service was also great. The waiter was very attentive and our food was brought out very quickly.

Restaurant is easy to reach via metro. So perfect if you don’t have a car around.

Came in for lunch and ordered the meat sampler to split with my girlfriend. Perfect amount of food for two people to split. Really enjoyed all of it and had a slice of key lime pie to top it off!

Really good bbq, I've been a few times and the only negative is the BBQ sauce imo is not that good. Burnt ends and Mac and cheese are fabulous. Avoid happy hour if you want to be able to hear someone talk :)

One of the best beef briskets I’ve had! Very well cooked high-end beef that has the best smoked flavor. Also don’t forget about the ribs. You must get them!!

I went to this restaurant with my friends, so a table of 3 was enough for us to order the 1/2 lb beef brisket and the beef short rib with a side of baked mac and cheese.

Our waitress deserved a very generous tip because she was extremely welcoming and kind. She also recommended multiple dishes for us to try.

All in all, highly recommend Texas Jack’s Barbecue.

Went here last month and really enjoyed the food, the pulled pork was fantastic and the coleslaw was perfect if you like it creamy! It was my favorite! I consider myself a coleslaw connoisseur!! The pickled onions and side of pickles was a great touch! The service was very quick. Will definitely be back!

This place is AMAZING! For me this was the best BBQ food I’ve ever have so far in this area (I’ve never been to TX or any other BBQ famous states, so my review is based on other BBQ places in the area)

We order the meat sampler that included brisket, pulled pork and ribs. With 2 sides, collard greens and Brussels sprouts. Flavors for everything was realllllly good. I wouldn’t get the Brussels sprouts next time just preference.

Meal value is perfect, there’s A LOT of food, coming from a foodie person.

Really nice indoor and outdoor ambiance. We’re definitely coming back here again with friends and family. Totally recommend!
