Big fun! Purchased through Groupon. 2 hours plus shoe rental for 2 people $23. Staff was pleasant and got us checked in fast. The location is clean and has a great atmosphere. Will go again.

If want to have a good time and bowl, this is the place to be.

On certain days/nights you can do 'all-you-can-bowl'.

The 'party lights' are NOT always on [everywhere].

The music is not too loud; staff seems to set the music to cater to the majority of those bowling.

The Bowl America personnel are friendly and helpful.

Decent food and beer (try the fire roasted pepperoni flatbread).

It IS true that the scoring equipment is not new; bowlers do not need to see animated figures and hear noises while bowling; simple is fine. The lane equipment is in good shape; I hardly ever see the mechanic fixing problems.

My ONLY complaint is the fact that, other than on league bowling nights, the lanes have very limited oil; makes it a challenge to bowl with a curve. ... I usually use my plastic ball when bowling two-handed at this alley (to keep from over-curving).

I grew up coming here when I was a kid just like my daughter has since she was born in 2018! Place is full of memories, actually good food, and fun for anyone who loves to bowl! I love the place!

Still as good as it was 35 years ago when I would go with my parents for their league bowling, but better because no one is smoking.

Friendly people, good lane conditions, good lane equipment.
I have not seen a mechanical lane problem in 1/2 year! (that is VERY good). The flatbread pizza is very good. Yes, the scoring display is old. However, it accurately records everything!

This was our first time here. Great staff. We had parked in the back, not aware of the parking in front of the building. Destani was very nice and walk with and unlocked the back door for us. My nephew had a blast and bowled his best game. The lanes are well taken care of. We will be back.

Went here for our 7 yo, friends birthday party. There were 2 other kids birthday parties there and the staff was kind, patient and willing to help everyone as quickly as possible. The staff at the snack bar was so nice and quick with all the food orders too. Really great local spot and will be back especially during these cold winter months.

Always have a fun time here, ever since I can remember. Food is actually decent for a bowling alley as well. Definitely a good place to take your mind off things with a friend or two, or even alone.

Great place to have a kids birthday party. The crew was very patient as we hosted 18 kids 5 and under.

Just finished bowling here w my lovely sister. Everyone was so helpful and fun! Great experience. I finally beat my sister at bowling after 45 years! :) good day!

Updating below a bit post COVID, I suspect the business is struggling a bit but I love having this option still. Food orders can be slow at times and staff can get a little stressed, but my family and I still have fun here. Great bad weather option.

It's an old divey alley, so be clear on that expectation, but the staff is usually very friendly. It's not annoyingly overcrowded all the time. They do a good job with reasonably priced kid birthday parties, and their summer blast pass deal is awesome. Kids get 2 free games and adults 1 per week I think. They've extended the kid part to the winter. I love their location and if you burn out, go shoot some pool or play darts at the bar next door.

Great no frills old school bowling alley. The Friday night special is a great value for the area and they recently upgraded their food offerings. Always a fun time.

We had a large party of children with lots of energy. The staff was accommodating, courteous and patient. Great service. Definitely visit again.

Really love this bowling alley. It is so throw back, really old score machines and everything but the lanes are fantastic, people are great. Great experience. Best bowling alley in this area.

My friends and I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly and helpful (shout out to Nick). Not gonna lie, we had a couple lane problems but Nick was always nearby to help. He also told us about the student discount which is helpful for us college kids trying to save money (me irl). Prices are good. Friday night, which is when we went was all night bowing for 15 a person which is not bad. Overall I would say that my friends and I had a blast and would definitely come back soon.

As of yesterday when I most recently bowled, every thing was great. Management on top of all aspects of my experience. Pin setters worked without fail. Looking forward to next week.

Love coming here! I have been to this bowling alley ever since I was a little kid, and have had a lot of memories with my family and friends right here. I have been going weekly for the last few months on Monday nights, and the staff is extremely nice and welcoming, always helping when I have a problem. I love the atmosphere and the people, and of course the bowling is a lot of fun too.

Tonight I had a wonderful time at Bowl America Fairfax with my family. I've been coming here for 10 years and have never encountered bad service. The staff was also very accommodating with my sisterss anxiety as well. I would recommend them to everyone looking for great bowling and a great experience.
