Berkeley City College Bookstore

I got my Associates degree while working full-time and going to school full-time in the PACE program. I won't say it was easy but I will tell you that the Professors and Staff at Berkeley City College (then Vista Community College) gave me their full attention, assistance, and support from the beginning of the program all the way through to graduation. I was the first person in my family to get a degree. I am proud, my family was proud, and the professors and staff were proud. I couldn't have had a better introduction to my college pathway!

I've been attending BCC for over two years and this is a wonderful school. The teachers hold high expectations for students and are dedicated professionals. The staff and teachers have been prompt and informative when responding to my questions. It is very convenient because it is half a block from the Downtown Berkeley station.

I have been attending BCC for a very long time now, although it is a very small school compared to the other Peralta community collages, I must say that it has a very friendly and more spitter environment then other community collages, the professors here are like the professors in any other school, some are nice and easy while some are not. Overall the school is nice

One of the best things about Berkeley City College is the Bookstore and Staff. Some of the best customer service I have experienced. The staff are kind and efficient, all well trained by the manager (Kiara), who retains a sense of humor, even during stressful times.
The space is tiny, yet they are so efficient in providing all of the necessary materials and the least expensive options. The Bookstore & Staff at Merritt College are the same, simply excellent.

The staff are always very helpful and efficient. The line generally moves quickly. There isn't much there, so don't expect a monster selection of supplies, but they have all the essentials. There are also vending machines outside for testing materials, pens, pencils and blue books and such

Went here for a while many students that go here are not serious so find those who are as a support group. Great staff especially Gail! One staff member in the English department does not need to teach miss. Wazniac if that's how you spell it.

Life at Berkeley City College is not all about studying. It is a great place to meet new friends, builds your new language and have fun in learning American Sign Language. Come and register ASL course.

Best conselling department ever known. If you are an international student here you are being blessed. Any academic issue or questions ask Emie. She is the one!! And a little tips: Go there before 10am and you dont even need to wait in the line.

I did one semester as International student. and I really like the place I had great teachers (for ESL program).

This has to be one of the better Junior College experiences. Such a blended learning environment. Maybe because it's so close to Cal Berkeley.

Small store with the option of ordering books not I'm store. Store manager and staff are friendly and helpful. Hours aren't as great, store does not open past 5:00p and not open on weekends.
