Great customer service did not expect to my issue to be resolved as quickly and seamlessly. Had an issue with an order, called to see if I could switch the purchase for a new one (within 30 days of purchase) without issue. The store even put it on hold to allow time for our contractor to remove the item to be swapped.

Dennis helped my girlfriend and I find special pieces for our home. Being an LGBTQ+ individual has its perks. We are design oriented and always have outstanding rooms modeled after Frank Lloyd Wright. Dennis was well versed in specific openings, light design and splashes of Cherokee red.

Since moving to Sacramento this is now my closest cb2. I’m a big fan, but since cb2 never displays their entire collection in stores or keeps stock of furniture in store most of my purchases are online. The Berkeley location is a nice size but the drive from Sacramento is too far for in-store pickup effectively making it more expensive. The return policies on shipped items (that you’ve never seen) is not good. Retuning will cost you even if never opened or just took a peek. They deduct return shipping and don’t refund shipping to you. Hard to understand how non locals can realistically shop there. Considering Sacramento is top relocation destination for Bay Area residents it’s surprising they have no presence here. On the plus side the Vacaville Crate&Barrel Outlet often has a large cb2 selection.

Smaller format store (given its central location), but has a broad set of furniture and decor items.

I absolutely love this 4th st CB2 in Berkeley!! Each and every time I go I find something and buy it ! The associates are awesome . They welcome you when they see you but they don’t hover , they let you shop freely but you know they are there if you need the help . Each associate I have dealt with during my purchases have always been very nice , and helpful. I will continue to shop here .

First time shopping at this location and I found the experience incredibly pleasant! The store was immaculately well kept, and the associates were courteous and helpful in getting a few additional items ordered. Del was especially helpful and provided us with exceptional customer service!

I rarely leave this location without purchasing something, usually dishware for serving at our frequent house parties and get togethers. The showroom is spacious, sales associates are attentive, and the prices for chic mid modern style furnishings can't be beat.

A modern furniture and hardware with affordable price in a reasonable size showroom. Some people say it is Crate and Barrel's line for Ikea's target market. I think the product is definitely better than Ikea's.

Hate Fourth Street, but I like CB2. Not the cheapest, buy they do have sales that move the prices to much more reasonable. Good mix of bold+classic.
