As a first timer this was a great experience. The haircuts are very well done and there is no lack of attention to detail. The prices are very reasonable. This wasn't just some 15 minute clipper job, Mr. Kim spent time to make sure that my cut was what I wanted. Mr. Kim is hands down the best skilled barber that I have been to and probably the best barber there is on JBLM. He takes his time and makes sure that you get the best quality cut.

Mr. Kim is the best barber on JBLM in my opinion. Same price as the PX (cash only tho) , but way less wait and way better results. I hadn’t been to this barbershop in over two years, and in the interim I’ve been to probably a dozen different shops that charge 2-3x as much for the same or worse cuts. It’s been about 3 weeks since someone else cut my hair, and as soon as I sat down, the barber said; “medium skin fade?” He’s the only one that’s ever guessed my cut, and he did one hell of a good job cutting it! If you want a good cut and friendly service, then Kim’s Top Barber Shop is a STEAL. They’re cash only, so plan accordingly, and don’t forget to tip!

Military haircuts all look the same on the outside, but there are definitely differences.
So, when I just moved to JBLM, I went through all the barbershops looking for a satisfying haircut.
The barbershops in PX & shoppette were not bad, but sometimes I thought it would be much better to cut my hair myself.

And I finally found Kim’s Top Barber Shop. It was the best skin fade I’ve had in this joint base.
Every haircut was satisfying, and I enjoyed the time in his barber shop.
He was absent for almost a year, but he came back last month.

Do you need a fresh fade? Mr. Kim's got you covered.
He is the best barber in JBLM.

Honestly the best haircut you’ll get on base and highly competitive with the surrounding barbershops off-post. Great value for your money. He treats all his haircut like it’s the first one of the day. Very meticulous with his work and treats your haircut like his personal artwork. Always a good time!

Mr.Kim has has been my barber for 8 years and knows his customers. I usually walk in and sit down and he already knows my haircut request. I would recommend him and his barbers if your looking for a great haircut. He knows his customers and does an outstanding job. Get a haircut and you will understand. Get your hair cut here. Mrs. Kim cut my hair and never since I joined the army have I had such attentiveness and care for the cut. If you're sick of being rushed through and getting the chop job you get everywhere else, this is the place to go. They take their time to do a good job and their prices are exceptional. Will definitely be coming here while at JBLM.

Mr. Kim and his family are an incredible professional team through and through. I have been coming to them for a couple years now and I always go to them when I need to look particularly good for an important meeting or for a ceremony. I wouldn't trust anyone else on post or around post with my hair like I trust Mr. Kim.

Mr. Kim's baber Shop can cut hair to standard and will make you look fresh as you want. Hands down better than some of the other barber shops here locally. Try them. You will not regret it!

Passing through the area and stopped in to get a "hopefull" decent haircut. WOW !!! WOW !!! WOW !!! Mr. Kim is by far the best Flatop Barber ever, he basically free handed with scissors, at one point I seen Edward Scissor Hands at work. Trimmed my beard and shaved my neck. Mr. Kim took the time to dry, gel, and style. Best prices to. 💕🇺🇸
