The Daily Grind - Espresso Bar & Cafe

This is a nice and relaxing place to get a coffee. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Their White Rhino Latte is delicious. If you order the Oreo Cookie Blast add a shot of espresso for a delicious pick me up treat. This is a great place to grab a coffee or a snack and head for a walk down the Arroyo Trail either towards Almond Avenue Park or Robinson Park. I do like this place but I wish their food and drinks cost less. They are a bit pricier than other places.

Great little Cafe with excellent service, tucked in corner near Library. Open at 7am... we needed to try something new, which is pretty difficult since several weekend favorites aren't open early in the work work. Coffee drinks little expensive however not bad. Bacon Breakfast burrito was delicious.
Definitely will try again.
Another great morning, Henry is very friendly and pleasant (yes even at 7am) he must already have had his espresso.. lol. We really enjoy this little secret breakfast spot. 😋

This cafe has become one of my favorite coffee shops. You can sit inside or outside, there are toys for small kids to play with and the service is friendly and kind.
There is a nice variety of 'to go' type breakfast items, pastry and lunch items. There is a large selection of speciality coffee and smoothie drinks.
It is directly connected to Livermore Public Library, Civic Center.

The first time we came here we realized that the service was really slow. But the coffee and the food are worth the wait. Here is what I would recommend. If you are lonely or not in the best mood you should come here. Sure the service is slow but that is because they are trying to give you the best experience possible. Yet if you are really hungry or need in a rush this isn’t the best place. The atmosphere in this place is top tier. The outside and inside seating. The owner is also really nice and likes to make small talk. Overall this is one of my favorite coffee shops.

Favorite coffee store in Livermore. Casual and friendly with library book vibe. I’m glad my husband likes it too, and we’re hoping Daily Grind adding business hours on Sunday morning! 😌😙😎☕🍵🥪✨✨✨

I absolutely adore this place whenever I need a peaceful spot to focus and get some work done. The folks there are always so welcoming and the food and drinks are simply amazing.

It was enjoyable. The coffee is real good. Like really good. The food portions are a little small for the price, but the people are really nice. It is also in a library so smaller finger food while you study perhaps makes sense. Also ignore the review which is complaining about getting kicked out for not buying anything. First off there is clear signage on the tables (see picture). Additionally, there were plenty of people with laptops or a book and just a coffee. They are certainly not going out of There way to kick anyone out. Third it's literally a library if you want to just sit down why not pick one of the many seats outside the cafe (honestly people). There is/was a blank review at the bottom that I reported. I encourage someone reading this to do the same should it still be there.

Fun stop for lunch and a coffee. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly (shoutout to Mike!). Plus they had great outdoor area to sit and enjoy your coffee.

I've never gone here before until today. The staff are really friendly with customers and the atmosphere is really nice. Their smoothies are some of the best I've had in a long time. The shop is a bit small and cozy, which really suits the library. I'm definitely coming here again!

The owner Henry is very friendly, as well as Annabelle. I ordered a Mexican mocha with oat milk, and the breakfast sandwhich Henry recommended. Unbelievably tasty and just the right amount of food.

The Mexican Mocha was made perfectly too.

Support.small local businesses! Wonderful cozy coffee / cafe for large variety of coffee and great sandwiches. Use your laptop or just enjoy the company and comfortable setting. Great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.

The gentleman who's always there(sorry I didn't get the name!) is always very thoughtful, nice, and kind. They have good coffee and plenty of seats inside and outside.

This place is amazing. The workers there are so friendly and kind. As well as the owner is so friendly and talkative to the customer and makes them all fell so welcome and happy. And the drinks and food are so delicious and hits the spot all the time

Love this place! I used to come here over 5 years ago and have great memories of the cute chalkboard menus and the breakfast burritos. Recently had a craving and went back the other day and everything was just as good as I remembered.

My two friends and I went there. The sandwiches were all great and we were also so impressed with Henry’s exceptional service! We sat outside at a distance in a very quiet area and the three of us want to go back again.

Excellent local cafe. Their food is well priced and surprisingly high quality for a cafe located in the public library. One of the best sandwich and cafe shops in Livermore imo.

DG is almost an extension of my living room. It's a little like "Cheers." Everyone is friendly and they " know your name." The food is excellent and made to personal preference.

I'm very environmentally conscious, so I love that they have hand-made ceramic mugs and regular metal spoons as options for their drinks...fewer plastics to clutter up the planet.

My drink is a non-fat cappuccino. Henry and Paul are skilled at building a huge, fluffy head of foam. When topped with cocoa powder and nutmeg (my favorite spice), it can be spooned up like the most decadent dessert...without the calories. DG is more than a coffee shop.

Always great drinks, food, and service. My kids love their grilled cheese sandwiches and smoothies, and I am a huge fan of their avocado toast.

Great people and 😋 coffee and sandwiches. But the Best is the old 50/50 bar....turned into a smoothie drink OMG soo creamy orange delicious. Addictive

Super delicious coffees ans really friendly staff. I got the mocha freeze and the mint cookie freeze with coffee. Both were incredible!
