The food and ambience is excellent. Just a bit pricer but fresh … hot chocolate is one of the best I had.

Hadn't been here in a long time. Menu did not really read as "Mediterranean " but both of our dishes were excellent, salmon and sea bream. Really really good food. Our server Ignacio was attentive and gracious. The bar was out of some ingredients, which made the special cocktail menu obsolete… However the bartender literally came over to our table and worked out what we might like instead of our original orders, and the drinks thus negotiated were so good we ordered seconds. The restaurant was festively decorated with Christmas trees, which I was hoping for and appreciated. It was very quiet, I hope business picks up because we had a lovely experience and it's different from my usual "hot" dining spots in Berkeley where you can hardly hear yourself speak much less hear your dining companion. Our overall experience was relaxed and elevated.

Excellent! Everything was delicious! Service was fantastic. Ambiance was lovely. Definitely recommend! We were in town on business and found Zino online. Went in on a whim and I'm glad we did!

We started with the spreads which were absolutely delicious. Cocktails were fresh and fun and interesting. Entrees were mouthwatering. I had the lamb which fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. Friends had chicken/vegetable tagine. Somehow we found room for dessert and that was just as delicious. Chocolate tart and the peach tart are a must! The gelato on top was delightful by itself.

I absolutely loved the food here. Usually I don’t eat hotel food as I like to explore outside options, but the appeal of this place sucked me in. Everything was perfect and my BEAUTIFUL girlfriend loved it here. Our server Jessamy was awesome too and gave us great service. I can’t wait to come back!!

Classy atmosphere with a bar area separating the hotel lobby and restaurant area. Good selection of bar bites - and drink mean is well curated. Some nights have live music, which isn't too loud and sounds great! A nice place to celebrate anything.

Veronica was our server for brunch earlier today. She was very sweet and attentive and made the delicious meal even better. Gia the manager was also very kind. Thank you both for a wonderful experience.

We had a perfect meal from the cocktails through appetizers and dinner. I must begin with the perfect setting, which is a very elegant room beautiful, spacious and quiet. Then the wait staff are fun, efficient, and knowledgeable and so helpful. The food was interesting because if it’s focus on the Magreb region of the Middle East and the flavors and spices all of which were very tasteful. The cocktails were wonderful and bartender worked with us to select artisanal liquors. We had three salads as an appetizer. For entrees my husband had the wild caught salmon and I had lamb tagine which was tender and included lots of vegetables including fresh peas again perfectly spiced on a bed of couscous. This is my new favorite place in the East Bay!!

Came here for drinks. The bartender was super helpful and made such a good Moscow mule that I had to get another (maybe 2 more? I forget). The hotel interior is quiet and well decorated. It made me want to stay here next time I'm in town.

All the food was excellent. Loved all the dips and pastas. Very nice fresh handmade al dente pasta. Mmmmm. I just with the bouillabaisse was available to try as well!

The service was excellent, the ambiance was extraordinary and the food was the best that I have had in this area as far as mediterranean. The falafel had the perfect fried exterior but melts in your mouth like a cloud of deliciousness.

Honestly, a great place wonderful menu, phenomenal cocktails, and great service. Definitely worth a shot. It's my go to in Downtown Berkeley now. Be sure to get Sam as your bartender. He's the best and designed the Bushel and a Peck. It's the perfect winter cocktail

As a native middle easterner I got to say the food was all amazing with the exception of the fatoush which had too sweet of a dressing. The rest was hard to stop eating. We had two gun based drinks that were also incredibly. It is a bit pricey but given the quality of the food it was worth it.

The brunch items are innovative and delicious... can’t wait to go back!

By far one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. A very welcoming and posh atmosphere, the food was phenomenal and presented in a elegant manner. Our server Josue was very hospitable. He knew his menu well and provided excellent menu suggestions. The chef jasmin and manager Dave came out to greet us and ensure that everything was satisfactory. All staff were very attentive. I specifically recall the busser Jesus checking in on us quite often to ensure a delightful experience. Definitely a local gem.

Great menu choices and excellent service. It is just about the only place left in the Bay Area where you can have casual fine dining and still have a conversation with the person across the table. The food is very good and drinks are well made. There is a parking garage that is easily accessible just across the street.

Heirloom tomato and pomegranate salad was delicious!
