Ruby's Cafe

Love Ruby's!!! Been going here for about 3 years now, and we always get it for work too! Their BLTA is my absolute favorite. Everyone is so nice and they have a cozy vibe. They also decorate for the holidays which is really nice. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and want a good sandwich or bagel.

We went here on a Friday afternoon for a quick bite. They have a lot of sandwich options as well as other items. We got the fresh mozzarella sandwich and it was a refreshing sandwich. I also got a Flornetine cookie. Big open space with plenty of seating available.

This place is also dog friendly! Staff was nice, friendly and quick with our order.

Such a beautiful cafe and the most friendly staff. Tried the Ruby’s veggie sandwich and it was amazing with the homemade hot salsa.

Definitely a gem in Emeryville, a must go.

Owner (Albert) was so gracious (even when I broke the toilet handle!) -- a native of NY, he has a wonderful Cafe that exudes that NY flair, with awesome foods and drinks! Ruby's Cafe is located in an easy-to-reach location and street parking is pretty accessible. Price was right for excellent food and ambience! Thanks AR!

Best be sure the owner is working the register every morning like clock work. Great food, great space, great people. And they are a real staple of the neighborhood, hosting big dinners/celebrations for folks in the area.

Wow this place just has the best energy with an authentic euro vibe. Warm, personal staff, delish food (I love their breakfast burrito and tuna melt!), and love the music. Thank you!

I love the ambiance of the cafe shop. I ordered white mocha and almond crois, white mocha was extremely sweet. I would mention about service that, I waited a little long and then they realized me. They can be more aware of their service, and putting a little smile on their face would be amazing.

Was looking for a place for breakfast after an appointment at Stanford Health and found Ruby’s Cafe. So glad we did! The owner was fantastic and the food was delicious. Top notch service. The onion bagel with all the right stuff - cream cheese, capers and tomatoes hit the spot while reminding me of the he bagel shops I loved as a kid. The egg and chorizo croissant was tasty! A wonderful full service cafe. The kindest staff, very comfortable personal cafe. The food and drinks are also great, whether to stay or to go! The owner even works the counter and often checks in on you while you're waiting on your food or drink. Great group of people, truly one of the best (maybe actually the best) down-to-earth cafe in the area.

My favorite cafe been coming here for years I work in the area. Amazing amazing Vanilla Mocha 4 shots with Oatmilk is a must!!! Breakfast sandwiches and bagels are so filling and Avo toast is bomb. The owner is so sweet and everyone here I always get perks ☺ Love you guys!! L’Chaim

On a wet February morning, the Chicken Enchilada soup is perfection in a bowl. My new favorite soup!

Delicious spot to grab a coffee and bite to eat while waiting for your Amtrak train. My sister and I each got a sandwich (Fuego and Sunrise Sandwich). Both were delicious and the service was absolutely amazing. Everyone working there was so nice. We even grabbed sandwiches for our train ride.

Perfect stop for breakfast convenient to the Amtrak station. Delicious breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and an assortment of coffees. Courteous, gracious staff!

Just a flat out perfect cafe. Their Caesar salad (add the tuna) is my go to. I've had a few sandwiches that were fantastic. They're extremely nice, inviting, professional and efficient. I don't feel like I'm being "taken" in any way.

Great customer service,you get a great feel and sense of a cozy home,a very warm and welcoming staff. They made our food very quickly,they also made sure we were satisfied with our food,and service. Its a very nice place to visit if you need to sit and enjoy a drink and food while using your computer.
