Delicious and innovative gourmet Mexican food, served in a bright and cheery atmosphere. We had their asparagus and goat cheese quesadillas, which were absolutely amazing, though you might want to pair them with something else to round out a full meal. We loved the bright secondary colors and rounded architectural features. It's also about half the price of other restaurants on Fourth Street. Highly recommended.

Delicious, fun, easy access- large space.
We, of all ages, have many favorites on the menu. The beef enchiladas call to us. Unusual chili rellenos. All good.

My family of three agree on 5 stars. We ordered al pastor tacos and carne asada tacos which were both flavorful and they were nice portions. My six year old ordered quesadillas and she loved the housemade tortillas and gooey cheese. The churros were lovely and had the perfect texture and finish to our meal. The space is beautifully colorful, large and open, we had the 2nd floor to ourselves.

stopped by here during their happy hour (3-6pm). great deals during happy hour! i got two veggie tacos, chips and salsa, and a limonata all for under $20! friendly staff and food came out fast although it was relatively empty when i went. veggie tacos were some of the best i’ve ever had! not a lot of places can do flavorful and filling veggie tacos but they were good. had my pup with me so we dined on the enclosed outdoor patio.

Nice little Mexican place off 4th street. Reasonably priced and good quality food.
My kid loved their quesadilla and lemonade.

I really like eating here. Chile relleno and tortilla soup are my favorites to order. It's a lively counter-serve restaurant with a great atmosphere.

Probably my favorite Mexican food place in the Bay.
The chili rellenos is filling and flavorful. The crispy breaded texture blends well with the soft texture of the sweet potato and it is all held together with a generous helping of cheese. The acid of the tomatillo sauce makes each bite refreshing and clears the palate to start the experience again. If you don't order this, you are wrong.
The chorizo sopa will only have to graze your tongue for you to realize how delicious it is. It is incredibly decadent.
The asada taco is pretty standard, though still well done.
The horchata is cool and delicious, though it can get a little "dusty" with ground cinnamon if you get it later in the day/towards the bottom of the container. I can see why someone wouldn't like that. I think it's great.
There is also a pretty wonderful pork torta on the menu. If you don't put the pickled carrots/jalapenos on it, then you are a bad person who will never be happy.

Consistently excellent, possibly even better now with the expanded space and expanded drinks menu. It’s an automatic every time we are in town and have the time. Outstanding Chile Relleno with mushrooms!

Great fast and easy tacos! Skip the fish taco but the Al pastor was incredible. The tortilla soup was flavorful and filling too. A little oily, but definitely a meal! Drinks looked great but we didn't order any. I'll be back!

Delicious food. Annoying because you have to stand in line to order, which can sometimes mean that you’re in line for a while.

I come here for the sope de chorizo y papas. My husband loves the tacos. Great food in a casual setting amidst Berkeley’s Fourth Street shops.

Interesting delicious food, classic dishes with fresh spin. Everything is made from scratch including all the sauces and tortillas. Lots of vegetarian options and most everything is already gluten free.

The food is amazing - beautifully prepared and a perfect portion size. It is definitely 'ekevated' mexican, using traditional flavors in new ways. Excellent selection of vegetarian dishes which can be hard to find. The restaurant itself is very loud, so prepare for that. But the food is worth the din!

The food is delicious ! I tried the pescado taco and the blood orange aguafresca. They also have super friendly staff which is lovely !

Vegan tacos (vegetarian with no cheese) were soo delicious. The flour tortilla was fresh and the taco itself had soo much flavor. The chips with vuac were hard but I still ate them

Literally the best service and the best food. Fresh made tortillas and their happy hour is such a good deal. Come here at least once a week since our office is right around the corner.

The food is great and it comes out fast! Atmosphere is typical 4th st.

It's charming, the food is fresh and when you taste it you know it. It's all about the tacos try the chicken one. Breakfast is a don't miss here too. They have a bar and fresh aqua frescas daily that change seasonally. Reasonably priced, pretty location, good price for portions, quality, service, and location.

It is a very nice place, I really love the soup!
