They have açaí bowls, Mochi muffins and donuts from Third Culture and the staff and amazing.

Always have excellent meat department! There’s tons of unfriendly people (not staff, just the local unfriendly Berkeley maskers) in the store so don’t expect to make any friends lol 😂 Just get your stuff and get out!
Also always beggars outside asking for handouts.

I love having my morning coffee at the BB West café. If you get the chance to meet Jeanette you ll start your day on a positive note :) Jeanette has always a great positive energy ! Bringing joy with her. She has this bright energy that wake you up in the morning and power you up !

Coffe , breakfast sandwiches, donuts, differents pastries. Enough seats.you can you enjoy you food . Only thing no bathroom inside. You need to go upstairs.

Always decent, reliable and fast. staff is friendly and efficient, everyone wearing masks and doing there best in these crazy times. Bonus points for using compostable cups and lids. Also nice that it’s in a separate facility from the grocery store so you don’t have to wait in line just to get in to get a coffee. Hopefully they will bring back the breakfast burrito because it was one of the best ones in Berkeley.

It was my first time visiting and I was completely blown away. The produce is very cheap, not to much the prepackaged lettuce and spinach. There are so many varieties of each fruit and veggie. Ex, they had possibly over a dozen different types of apples, same for oranges, and so on. I would definitely return again. There is ample parking. There is even a cafe across the walk way from the store you can enjoy some food. They also own it. It reminds me a of a cheaper Whole Foods mixed with a massive farmers market. I highly recommend you visit. I would rather drive through traffic to get there than go to some a limited expensive grocery store in San Francisco.

My first visit. The place has it all. Easy bus access. Big parking lot. Yummy food (I had the lentil curry soup.) Relaxed, cozy vibe. When you're done with lunch you can shop for groceries and/or visit Looking Glass Camera Shop which is a 1-minute walk away.

I Absolutely love this location. It’s very nicely organized and appealing to the eye with all the beautiful coloring of the fruit and vegetables. I highly recommend this location. Gorgeous ! I love shopping here. It’s always a wonderful experience for me.

Lovely little cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You can order food to go, or to eat there. Huge menu, including vegan offerings. Food is very modestly priced, with many items in the $6-$9 range. Portions are large.

To be honest with you I refuse to say anything bad about this elitist trendy grocery store and it's cafe. You got to have money to shop here but the truth is you ain't gonna get a better experience anywhere else. PERIOD. Berkeley Bowl is the bomb but talk about rich white privilege. But their selections are superior to anywhere else, including whole foods.

This noisy cafeteria serves excellent basic breakfasts (e.g. omelettes, breakfast burrito, pancakes). Rarely has any wait for a table. And has some of the best groceries in the US only 100ft away. It can’t be beat. A real “sleeper”.

Ahi salad had a mighty slab of fish, and was both tasty and plentiful. Each table has multiple hot sauces available, and the beverage cooler has a delightful variety. I've never had a Diet Dad's Root Beer before!

Amazing produce 10 different sizes and types of grapefruit. Excellent fish selection. Get there early to miss the crowds.

Usually a good spot for a quick bite but it can get busy busy. If you can't find what you want at the cafe, check the grocery store next door - lots of prepared foods in the deli section.

Really nice Cafe. A lot better than a regular case since they have quite s bit of hot food also which looked delicious. Coffee was Stumpies and the latte that we had was perfect. Nice place to sit and relax

The best produce, regular and organic with the best prices. Extensive bulk section, deli, cheese, meat market and fish.

This is my Friday lunch 'go to'. Great selection of healthy food that tastes great. The seared ahi tuna sandwich is the best deal around. Friendly people.
