Monster Melts

Stopped here after a backpacking trip in Central Washington. My hiking partner got a tuna melt, and really liked that there was little to no mayo, and it wasn't greasy at all. Smelled delicious on my end. I got an Americano, and it is some of the best espresso I've had -- not bitter at all. Free WiFi and board games you can play. Cafe is super clean, with plenty of space to sit, and very quick and friendly staff and service. Lots of street parking nearby. I'll be stopping here if I'm ever in the Ellensburg area again!

Every time I've gone, the service is always friendly and attentive, even if there are several people waiting at once. The food is great comfort food, whether you're getting a sandwich or a snack or dessert. Their drinks are pretty great too, and pretty customizable if you just ask the servers.

I love the remodeling, the establishment looks even better than it used to. I also love that the store stocks new art on the walls (for sale) every so often. They're interesting pieces to look at, and they make the shop feel really cozy.

I have seen this place for awhile now and have really been wanting to try it. I went with my roommate last weekend and it is really good. I try to eat vegan as much as possible and they have two vegan sandwiches that change daily. Their vegan sandwiches are amazing! I don't remember which sandwich my roommate got, but he said it was really good. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a student discount.

Lunch with my friends was really great! The food was good, and the service was good. We all enjoyed our sandwiches. And the kids had a great time playing with the games, upstairs, on the shelves. They had many to choose from. Much more fun than sitting around listening to us reminisce. The place is alot smaller than I had expected. It felt a little crowded and there were only a couple of other customers. It looked crowded even behind the counter and in the kitchen. Since all the sandwiches are pre- made, and ready to go onto the hot press, our food was ready pretty quickly. That was a very nice change from so many of the other restaurants in town. I will definitely go there again.

Delicious sandwiches, a very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff members. Also, if you're a student at CWU you get a 10% discount! I love eating here. Would especially recommend the traditional grilled cheese and beefy bacon Bigfoot sandwiches.

A great eatery with a wide selection of delicious sandwiches for any budget. From Ruebens to grilled cheese, you can find a great melt here that is always served by a staff that is both friendly and quick! A must visit for any local and a great travel spot for anyone passing through.

The food's not bad, pretty good acutally. But what I think makes this place really special is the people. Their customer service is out of this world. They are so nice and friendly! There is always really good music playing, and there is just a nice vibe to the place.

I was driving down the road and saw a cool looking sign with a monster on it, and I was looking for somewhere new to try, so I grabbed a parking spot and went in. I was greeted very warmly as soon as I walked in the door. I was given a description of all of the sandwiches available, and a recommendation. I got the Reuben and it was delicious! Lots of melty cheese, so it was living up to the name. I was invited to have lunch downstairs, or upstairs where there was a TV and board games. I also got a flavored monster energy drink, which stayed with the theme of the restaurant. The food was good, the service was helpful and friendly, and I got to watch some Supernatural on the big screen while I was enjoying my lunch. I had a really good experience, and will probably go back if I can't find another new place to try the next time I am in town.

The grilled cheese are mouthwatering. They are two for 4 dollars. Yummmm!

This place is a hole in the wall with amazing food and drinks! Definitely coming back for more! The vibe is super chill and the staff are very sweet! We came here for breakfast because everything around was too busy and we don't regret it 🤘😎

Definitely the perfect healthy Option for college students. Can call in an order from campus and it's ready before you get there! Even can choose a tasty apple instead of a bag of chips as your side.

This place is great! The food is delicious, and the environment, though dark, is great for a group of friends to get together and chill! They also have board games, darts, and a TV upstairs! Worth checking out for sure!

Ordered a Caprese melt. Heirloom tomatoes and varyingly melted mozarella made for an incredible mouth journey. Lemon bars and chocolate cake were truly evil in how delicious they were. I ordered a dirty chocolate chai, which was perfect, exactly as ordered. Came with a free coffee bean candy. The entire experience was genuinely exceptional, and the server was a joy.

Tried the Cuban and the Italian. Both are amazingly good. More seating now that the upstairs is open. Definitely coming back!

Went in for my first time last night and the guy working was really nice and the food was better than I expected. Prices are fair so I will very likely be going back again.

A great place to study or hang out with friends. We love that it's open until midnight most nights so that we have ample time to complete homework for the next day.

The sandwich was awesome and on Monday nights there is massages for $10 for 15 minutes from 6pm-9pm

Great food, many sandwich options! Has amazing deals for college students and their coffee is FANTASTIC!!
