I worked with Jennifer Kim and am so impressed with the quality of her designs. I typically work with private designers but after working with Jennifer, I realize how much better it is to work with her. She quickly understands my style, aspirations and is quick to recommend solutions. More importantly she is able to tell me what selections will not be optimal toward my design goal. She also goes out of her way to help me complete a room, for example recommend towels. I would recommend her and work with her again in a heartbeat! I wish I had found her earlier.

Jennifer is a true professional who not only is a pro at what she does but is also so nice to work with. She truly takes the time to address questions and really learns the space she is designing. She was kind enough to come to my home several times to give great suggestions and to check out fabric colors in my actual space. She is amazingly patient as well as I know I am quite a lot to deal with! 😊 I am so lucky to have found her as my designer and am looking forward to working on updating/upgrading my home with her! Looking forward to uploading my photos when I get all my furniture in!

We worked with Jennifer Kim in the custom design of furniture for our kitchen/dining room. The furniture included a buffet, a dining room table that expands to seat ten, eight side chairs, two arm chairs, and four counter stools, which all utilized similar wood tones; the chairs and stools had three very different (but complementary fabrics). Jennifer listened to what we wanted, offered suggestions, responded to our feedback, and presented us with a series of options that all would have looked wonderful. She was easy to work with and listened attentively. She came to our house and helped us develop a really interesting dining area that complements the feeling and style of the surrounding rooms. She helped us improve on our own ideas. I would highly recommend Jennifer's services in helping you flesh out the types, styles, colors and fabrics for furniture that will make your home beautiful.

We worked with Jennifer Kim to replace an old ottoman. We initially thought we would reupholster, but Jennifer pointed out that it would be cheaper to buy a new one with a sale going on, rather than reupholster the old one.Jennifer was extremely helpful, friendly, and responsive to all our questions. We also replaced some old sofa cushions with new inserts. Jennifer was kind enough to insert the new ones for us! Excellent customer service!

Ethan Allen has excellent quality furniture. We purchased a sectional from them in 2004 and it lasted for 20 years. It was still good when we decided to buy a new one in 2023, but our color scheme had changed at home and that is the only reason we bought a new one. Mahnaz Vahdat was our designer at Ethan Allen for our 2023 purchase. She listened to what we wanted, came out to measure, and helped guide us through the process of selecting our new sectional, a chair, and an ottoman. I loved her expertise & design recommendations. She helped us select materials and fabrics that would suit our taste, as well as having an eye to durable choices that would withstand family, guests, and pets. Of course, everything turned out amazing. Ethan Allen's white glove delivery service was impeccable. These are the reasons that we continue to be loyal Ethan Allen customers. Go see Mahnaz in Walnut Creek! She will be our choice of designer for our next upgrade.

I highly recommend Ethan Allen for elegant high quality furniture and the ability to tap into their design expertise. I helped my parents who are in their 80s move from their Marin County home of 40 years, to Stoneridge Creek in Pleasanton and I took them to Ethan Allen to complete their furnishings. Marianne Arons-Portman an Interior Designer par excellence at Ethan Allen in Dublin worked with us very patiently to create the kind of custom office my parents wanted in their new retirement community. Marianne also helped us find an elegant display cabinet to fit with their dinning area and reupholster a chair to fit with their living room pieces. Marianne listened to my parents wants and desires, made a site visit to show us fabrics for the chair, took measurements, and created drawings for easy installation of the office floor plan when the furniture arrived. Today the office furniture arrived, and my parents are so pleased with the outcome. Ethan Allen with Marianne's expertise has made their new home complete.

We met with Mahnaz at the Walnut Creek branch and couldn’t be more pleased with her knowledge and assistance in helping us select furniture for our new house.
She is VERY professional, and made the shopping experience very smooth and fun. She displayed different pieces of furniture on the large screen monitor, and arranged them in a variety of ways using Ethan Allen’s configuration system on the monitor which helped us tremendously in picking our pieces.
After our purchase she included all receipts and copies of the furniture and fabrics we purchased very neatly in multiple folders before handing them to us.

Ethan Allen has always been our furniture of choice for over a decade. The quality is good and the attention to detail impeccable. However, their service was put to the test recently when the switch on our leather recliner broke. We called Brian Combs, our designer who put us in touch with Tod Pohlmann from the Ethan Allen service center. The process to order the switch and schedule the appointment took a few weeks, but Tod kept us abreast of the progress. Hendrys, one of the most professional and efficient technicians we have seen - came by, on time, and fixed the switch in less than a half hour. Showed us where the breakage had occurred. We knew Ethan Allen made great furniture, but we were not expecting the 5-star service we got. Thank You !

My wife Carol and I were thrilled with our experience at Ethan Allen! Following a complete remodel of our family room, we worked with personnel at the Concord, CA store to select, purchase, and install a new carpet, sofa, and armchair. The designer was fantastic. We loved the items she recommended and she informed us of a sale that would enable us to purchase them at a substantial discount and obtain free delivery. Based on the designer's recommendations and the availability of the sale, we purchased the items. She followed up to advise us of the probable delivery dates fo rthe itmes, which enabled us to arrange for a new home for our old furniture and carpet, and she made certain, after delevery of the items, that we were completely satisfied. The delivery personnel were kind, courteous, and extremely accommodating to our needs. For example, they willingly moved items outside to our backyard after placing the items we purchased in our family room. Finally, everyone who has seen our family room with the new furniture and carpet has said how beautiful the room looks. Indeed, my wife Carol and I agree that it has never been more attractive and inviting! Thank you, Ethan Allen!!
