Saigon Cafe

The bún bò huê (#24 in special soups!) was absolutely amazing. It was packed with flavor, the meat was tender, the veggies were fresh, and the large WAS a large. We weren’t able to finish it and our incredibly nice server got us to-go bowls. I loved how nice everyone was, incredibly accommodating, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend coming here!!

Odd infrastructure, the door is loud and it slams hard. Menu is simple and well sized. Tables are small. The soup is somewhat... sweet, I like that. I noticed they gave much more onions than most places. Their combo pho doesn't have meatballs though. Other than that, they do all of the element of pho very well, soup doesn't taste bland or like raw noodle water, a small and nice hole in the wall. I appreciate the above average quality noodle soup, hard to find around here. Would come again if I didn't live so far away...

Where to start?! This looks and feels like a family run restaurant, the staff are prompt, friendly and greet you warmly. Service is extremely quick, it takes approximately 10 mins from ordering to getting your food (huge bolw of pho for 10$!!!). The food is good and wholesome, I love their pho with prawns and veggies as well as their soft shrimp rolls. They also are able to accommodate different diets and are happy to swap rice for salad for those of us wjo have to watch what we eat. Their green chicken curry is a good find too. They also offer a free scoop of ice cream which is refreshing and doesn't really look like a scoop at all, more like a glass full of yumness the size of my hand. What a great place to eat.

I really loved my pho! Rare steak & tendon was awesome. I always get a large pho everywhere we go, and this was the largest!

They have best pineapple fried rice. Listen to me when I say. Do yourself a favor and go try it. It's places like this that you have to appreciate.

Best vegetarian pho I had in a very long time (and they even have a dedicated vegetarian menu!)

This is one of those restaurants that I don't want to write up reviews on because I want it to be my own best kept secret. But they deserve every star out there in this world, so here I am :)
Rock solid. Just rock solid. Don't expect a Michelin star cuisine or service but this place is just damn rock solid.
Perhaps the best egg roll (or "Imperial Roll") I've had in my life! Like burn your tongue it's so hot and fresh kinda good. Oh and did I tell you about their best kept secret, beef cube steak with french rice? Oh gawd. Just order it, it's so good.
Best part about this place is that it's just so affordable. It's so hard to find these tasty, affordable places to eat out in the Bay Area anymore. Between the two of us, we ordered 1 appetizer to share (3 huge pieces of Imperial Roll), 2 entrees and a soda and the total came out to be less than $50+tip.
I hope there are more places like Saigon where they offer good food at affordable places. Thank you and rock on!

This is our comfort food once every 2 weeks. Extremely consistent and great tasting food. Not only their Pho, but the noodles/rice and curries are great too.

Being a vegan it's very hard to find good food. But Saigon Cafe have the traditional Vietnamese food I used to love to eat when I was a child and the cafe have it in vegetarian option which is perfect for me. I got to enjoy my childhood food but in a more healthy way. Even my non-vegetarian friend loved their chicken and broccoli.

I ordered pho chin Nam and I ended up wanting to drink the broth and order extra to take home and drink. Did I mention the broth is good? Also the meat, get the large, guarantee you'll be full. Worth the $2 difference.

1st time here. Had wonton seafood veg soup was great. Also chicken lemongrass salad. We will be back for more soon.

The best pho in Livermore! The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. I always get the shrimp rolls and a large #14 (pho w/ steak and brisket). The soup is amazing and flavorful, and they have large portions. I have been here with large parties and they’re very accommodating, and have something for everyone.

Excellent food in a casual atmosphere. The vegetables in the tofu spring rolls are always fresh and crisp. The new Beef Stew dish is excellent. The beef is very soft and the broth is extra flavorful. A delight, every time.

Always fantastic food! I have never once had a bad meal here, and the lady who waits the tables is always quick, but willing to chat for a second (unless it's incredibly busy). The restaurant does get overwhelmed sometimes, especially with take out order and during college holidays.

This is a really solid place for pho and other south east Asian dishes. I really like the pho, but the Vermicelli, Pad Thai, and Singapore rice noodles are also great options if you're down for something else.

Id never had pho before and im so glad i was able to have my first bowl here. It was a wonderful expierence. Casual setting with a warm friendly atmosphere. Cant wait to try other dishes!

Shrimp spring rolls a d peanut sauce were fresh and delicious. My wife had the wonton, shrimp and vegatable soup, she said it was also delicious. I had the chicken pho, their broth is awesome, tasted like they favor cinnamon and that is just fine. Loved it as always, will ne back.
