USPS Lafayette Carrier Annex

The Lafayette Carrier Annex personnel have been extremely helpful and gracious answering my questions and holding my mail when I'm vacationing. When they don't know the answer, they have directed me to the correct office/phone number. My own postal delivery person is terrific. These essential workers sort a lot of mail and when errors like mis-delivery occur, or someone has written an incorrect address - my mail is delivered to me instead of the incorrect address. Thank you for taking care of us.

NOT A POST OFFICE. Google listed as a post office. It is not.

I have had two days of mail not delivered which included bills and documents. Today and on 7/16. Plus I have had to deliver mail to neighbors that was put in my mail box. This is unacceptable.

Some drivers will not deliver packages if “they don’t fit in the mailbox” which is not the policy. If you schedule a redelivery and ask for it to be delivered to the front door (because duh it’s a package that doesn’t fit in the mailbox) they say they will and then don’t. I think they are lazy. Had to go pick up from the office and the manager didn’t really care that his employees aren’t doing their jobs. What is the point of paying for things to be delivered if you end up having to go do it yourself?

Picked up a package. Took forever for them to answer the door. Nice guy that answered. My "fragile" "DO NOT BEND" package has coffee spilled all over it and completely bent. It is a pencil portrait of our 1 yr old granddaughter. It is in terrible shape now. I'll try and post pictures.
5/22 Picked up another package. Plastic envelope. They answered the door a lot faster. I turned the bag over and it had a hole in it. I've lived all over the U.S. and this is the first post office that I've encountered with so many problems. Someone needs to inspect this place.

Lost my package. Impossible to reach, irresponsible employees. Sad state of affairs.

Office is impossible to find and this place is absolutely useless. Pay $30 extra to next day ship a textbook, wait all day for the package. They tell me they delevier it at 1 pm, and two days later I still don't have it.

Everything about this place is a joke. They fabricate stories to avoid doing their job constantly. Its so frequent Im now on a first name basis with the supervisors.

They will not deliver your package if it’s not convenient for them. They make it terribly difficult to receive packages

Lost and missed delivered my packages/mail about 6 times in the last 2 months...unacceptable. Not sure how that even happens?

Been trying to contact them via phone for around 30 minutes now. They just do not care!
