McCaulou's Department Store

Even though this is a chain department store, I feel like I am shopping at a small neighborhood business whenever I am here. The store sells similar products as a small Macy's, but it offers more personalized services like free gift wrapping, shoe fitting, and local clothes/sports gear. I can depend on finding quality products as well as unique gifts for my Christmas or birthday shopping year round.

McCaulou's is a wonderful full service department store where you can find good values. I hate to shop and actually avoid large malls, shopping centers and crowded places. This store has more of an "old fashion" feel, in a good way. They carry a wide selection quality merchandise. Their baby/children's department has excellent selections that make buying gifts easy. Gift wrap is free on purchases over $15. Their sales racks always have good selections and reasonable prices. This place is a true gem with helpful staff and something for everyone in your family.

Hidden Gem in the East Bay! - They offer FREE gift wrap! Super easy to run in, they're going to always have something I'm looking for. I do all my holiday & birthday gift shopping there and I walk out with a wrapped gift & a card! Huge time saver! Shop local!

I come here annually from Central Mexico to find men’s clothes—many items are half the price of Macy’s. I especially like the wool shirts and sweaters from Pendleton. There is no better choice of men’s socks and underwear. There is a wide choice of wool scarves. I live at 7,000 feet altitude and we wear wool clothing indoors and outdoors in winter and on chilly nights with wind at restaurants. I fly here with an empty suitcase to fill it with clothing from McCaulous’s.

My favorite store in the country to buy clothes at. Buying now for friends on the East Coast. We are all the same size, so if they don't like them, I keep them. Win, win.

When your living in the subrurbs and dont want to deal with the malls and parking go to this great focused department store. I always find what I need and get in and out quickly. They even have free gift wrapping for purchases over $15.00.

Good selection of brands and you're spending you money locally. Deals can be found on the sale racks.

McCaulou's is always one of our favorite places to shop in the Bay Area. Quality mdse. and reasonably priced. I'd get in trouble if I spent any more there this trip.

I visit my daughter in Lafayette and always enjoy shopping here. It is so comfortable and pleasant. A nice change from big city department stores.
