Veterans Park

We love this park for the variety of activities, but the playground and bench area is great with plenty of shade!
Restrooms are potentially an option if the door doesn't get locked behind last person in. There's a keypad but we don't know the code. Between the climbing rope and the blue carousel, we had a group of birthday kiddos occupied for a surprising 2+ hours??

I came to the park for a running race. I had been here before with my granddaughters. The park is a great place for families to gather. There is a play area, skateboard park, swimming pool, walking trail, picnic area, etc. The park was a great start & finish area for the run. Gold medal Olympian Eddie Hart was present to encourage participants to do our best. Though I have only been here a few times, I have enjoyed my visits on each occasion.

This is such a large park. It is great for a picnic, skating, walking, parties, and swimming when it reopens.

I've been hanging out here for I r 20 + years. Nice park. WALKING playing and swimming too.

No doubt - awesome park, great for kids adults and everyone. It has so many slides, rides and climbing stuff for kids, good space for picnic. It has good parking space too.

This is a very nice park. First thing was easy parking. Well tended grass. Many shade trees. Relatively quiet for our impromptu guitar concert.

Stopped here with my niece and nephew to play some Pokémon Go. It was very hot but there were some shady places to sit. Lots of Pokestops and Gyms for Pokémon Go players. Nice park.

This place offers many play areas. Good shade and greenery.

My kids love the skate park.

Nice Park. Always clean and well cared for. The park has a obstacle dome for kids and adults. It's a lot of fun.

Beautiful park but the women's bathroom was locked, we went across the street to the Chevron. Other than that a beautiful day! Great park with shade cover over top.

Veterans park is really nice. I took my granddaughter there to play on the equipment and she had so much fun!
There is also a bocce ball court.
There is plenty of open grass area and a nice covered picnic area.
Overall I recommend this park!

Beautiful scenery and wonderfully clean. A great place to bring my dog and friends and enjoy the outdoors. Be warned, due to the skate park, there is a very fragrant smoke smell almost all the time. I'd recommend stricter security, as there have been teens hotboxing their cars in the parking lot every single time I've been here.

Perfect for dog walking they have pet bags for waste and several benches to sit and relax.

A great local playground! The main play structure is enclosed, and there is shaded seating for the adults. The play structure has a boat/ pirate/ nautical theme. There's also a an area of climbing ropes. Our three year old loves it here!

Great place to visit. Plenty of shade for relaxing under a tree or canopy. The pools are kid friendly and you can bring food & drinks inside the pool area. The park have a volleyball net and a skateboard area. I enjoy coming here because my family and I planted a tree in memory of my little brother who passed away.
