Mama Sushi & Bowl

Beautiful presentation of food that well matched the taste and honestly was blown away by this small shop in the corner that I've looked over so many times headed past on my way home. The miso soup bowl was humongous, for 6$ the large really is large and well worth it. The chicken katsu was delicious and so was the beef ramen, the exact name of which escapes me. Overall very yummy food and pretty reasonable prices and I'm quite upset I haven't been here sooner.

Quiet sushi bar with amazing flavors. The food is fast and hot or cold as ordered. Nice family (?) operation with indoor seating with a well thought out and extensive menu. Pricing is as expected for the area. With many items of interest on the menu, I will be back. I recommend Mama Sushi for lunch or dinner.

Delicious. California roll was fresh and light, Mama roll was tasty with a little spicy heat, the Fantasy roll with fried garlic was unique and subtle. Great price for good sushi.

Here on travel for work and I passed this little gem on my way to my room. I stopped after work it did not disappoint. Really good food. I got a chicken bowl and an appetizer that was amazing it was a stuffed Jalapeño highly recommend it.

Amazing food and I couldn't have asked for better hospitality. Very empty around 7pm but very welcoming and they were so happy to have us. All of the food was delicious and there was so much of it! The teriyaki chicken was tender and tempura was cooked perfect. I would definitely recommend to dine in!

Very friendly service. Has a small, but great atmosphere. You mark the quantity of items off of a mom and dad menu, that are at your table, with a pen. Food is very presentable. There are pictures of the items on the walls around you.

This is officially our new go-to sushi spot! Everything we ordered was prepared thoughtfully with quality ingredients. The taco salad had a refreshing dressing. The Bloody Mary roll was very rich and overflowing with flavors. We don't usually order rolls with deep fried components but this one was worth the cheat day. The Fantasy roll had some newer flavor combos. We would order that and the Catepillar roll again.

Best Sushi in Concord! The food is great and the service is awesome. The place is small but you won't regret eating there.

Love this place. I order from there every Thursday evening after my long commute. So good!!

WOW!!! GREAT SUSHI!!! This is some of the beat sushi I have gotten in the area, and for a reasonable price. 50$ for two with beer, saki, goyoza, tea and 3 rolls. Highly recommend this place!!! They are a little slow and the the restaurant is very small, maybe 20 seats total. So don't show up if your in a hurry or if you have a massive party.

I've always driven pass this place for the past 3 years and kept telling myself, "I gotta check that place out one of these days!" Today, I finally did! I ordered 3 Bento Boxes, all seafood, and a veggie egg roll. 1 for me and 2 for my parents. Personally..... GREAT and FRIENDLY customer service. I told them it was LENT and couldn't eat any meat. They understood and helped me out with my choices. It was perfect! Definitely coming back.

Great sushi place, comfy and friendly staff. Food is delicious especially sesame chicken with spicy mayo and the rice for the sushis is great taste aside from sushi itself.

This place is less than 1 mile from where I live & I can't believe I am just now finding out about it. The food is REALLY good! So much better than any other Japanese I've had in Concord. What's equally great about this place is the owners & staff. My first time there I ordered 3 dishes for dinner to take home. The waitress/hostess who took our order was so welcoming & friendly. It's genuine too you can tell. There is no dining in right now due to covid of course but after you order they let you wait in your car for your food. When it's ready they bring it outside to your car for you which is really nice I think. I haven't seen any other restaurants that do that. When she gave us our food she told us that her Mom made us something special that's good to have with one of the dishes we ordered and they gave it to us for free! When we got home and opened the bag, each container inside had a handwritten note in red ink on it with instructions for the free dish they had included and then signed "Love, Mama!". I really appreciate such excellent service and great food. They made a loyal customer that night for sure. I've been 3 times now & they've been just as nice to me every time.

Amazing Sushi!! Everything is fresh and delicious! The food is plenty and amazing. I am no expert in sushi but their food made me love it. 49ers roll and sesame chicken are a must have! They are so personable and professional. Excellent service! And they have a wide array of drinks as well. Very hospitable and warm people. A must try

Hands down, our favorite sushi place around. Close to home. Small business/family owned. The service is always great. So friendly! And the sushi is fresh, yummy and reasonably priced. Other non-sushi options are great as well. We especially like the sesame chicken.

I love this place! The lady who works here is so cute. She will legit run outside to hand you your food even run to if you have any questions. Food is awesome and always so good! Small little cute gem in Concord.
