Gen Korean BBQ House

Went as a group of four for lunch. There was no wait and we were seated at a clean and nice table.

Paid dinner price for the weekend and the food was great. Drinks were good and not too expensive either. Service was faster than I’m used to at other gens and they were super nice and attentive.

Enjoyed all the sides and meats and the bulgogi with rice paper was delicious. Popcorn chicken and fish katsu were so crispy. Personally I think the honey and spicy chicken are a must try although others may think it’s not value. Short rib was top tier as always.

Had to remind them for a grill change but it came pretty fast.

Would definitely come back if I’m in the area.

Several new items on the menu now for appetizers, including cheese katsu, fish katsu and more.

Server today didn't miss a beat and was very attentive with checking in periodically.

I wish they had a properly stocked full bar, but I guess they need a different alcohol license for that maybe ? I think only beer and sake are allowed here.

Great food and great service, we went around 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded at all, we got seated really easily! The staff was kind, attentive, and came to check on us often to change our or trays or clear plates. There were great options on the lunch menu - we got several rounds of steak, brisket, pork belly, calamari steak, and shrimp. It was a great bang for our buck, we were a group of five and all of us were way too full to even have dinner. Pretty good dessert as well! We got some sticky rice cake type thing (I forgot the name, but imagine a cinnamon roll, mochi, and a donut hole combined into one), and also macaron ice cream!

Best server ever! Thank you to our lovely Kevin for treating us so well. We don’t know if that’s actually his name but he responded to it. Great night, definitely coming back. Kenneth didn’t judge our food choices and made a safe environment. I even started telling him about my life. Keith gladly served me and my friend our 12 potato side dishes with no judgement. We hope Kelly gets a raise for his hard work.

Fun lively atmosphere. Phenomenal service by Phil. He made sure that we were happy. The manager Shi also warm and inviting gave wonderful plate recommendations and was so nice. Together was attentive and made my family's first experience out of this world. Price is not bad for the array of flavorful choices. This is in my top 3 great restuarant experience.

Ample of parking space. Saturday dinner obviously we had to wait for almost an hour, but it was worth the wait. The server who took care of us was very friendly and we were given much attention even when the restaurant was packed. Very good food, they dint have the tongue on the menu but overall the variety of the food, ambiance of the restaurant and the service was too notch.

We ordered gulbi, 2 pork belly and rice on the side even before we sat down and the food was out in no time. We dint even order appetizers yet. Lovely and will be back again.

Great food and great quality. Service is random, sometimes is great, sometimes not so much. Definitely changes the experience.
In terms of atmosphere, the only negative aspect is the smoke and the smell on your clothes after you leave

Mainly same marinate used in many of the meats so variety can be improved. There was a wait, for us about 30-40 minutes. The service was good but could have been better. Would recommend for once in a while outing.

This was my 1st experience at a Korean barbecue with my husband and it was amazing. The staff was very good and at checking in at good intervals instead of being persistent. They did change the grill pan various times during our meal which I truly appreciated. The quality of the meat also seemed fresh and really good

I love Korean bbq. The restaurant is really beautiful and they have a lot of place to accommodate a lot of people. The food as always is delicious. The only complain I do have is that they didn’t have cheese corn. Every Korean bbq I been to always has that. So I’m as a little disappointed but overall I was pleased with the service.

Good selection of meats to grill and a few appetizers offered. Everything was pretty good, once service started, our server came by pretty often and kept us informed of wait times for certain foods or other suggestions for ordering. People came by and cleared plates pretty quickly as well. Rice cakes appetizers were a little hard and their tofu soup was watery and tomato-ey tasting but other than that everything was very good!

Solid place for Korean BBQ. The server was always checking up to see if we needed more food, and they take Covid precautions seriously. The marinated short ribs and calamari steak was awesome. The one thing that could have been better is if I had actually gotten a sharper scissor.

Had a good experience here. Our party was seated quickly and given a brief run down of the menu from staff. The food was good and there were many options. 5/5

Gen Korean BBQ is my go-to place for K-BBQ! They have amazing prices, delicious food, and attentive and professional staff! I have been here several times and the wait times are quite reasonable and the service is absolutely fantastic. Anyone interested in exploring the charms around the world of Korean BBQ should try this place!

Amazing BBQ!!! We love this place so much. Food is delicious and service is friendly. Their cucumber mint lemonade is amazing. Definitely try it. 25 dollars for each person and all you can eat. Good place for a birthday party and they will celebrate for you.

I had a wonderful experience at Gen... it was my first time going there, my daughter and son treated my wife & myself to a great late lunch. We will definitely be returning very soon !! 😍😍👍🏾👍🏾

Good food, good service. Waitresses/waiters were prompt and always checked up on me. Food was good, but the meat had a lot of fat on it

This place was awesome! It's a set price for lunch and for dinner. $16 per person for lunch and $25 per person for dinner. All you can eat! They have steak, shrimp, calamari, chicken and so much more. You can order 4 things at a time. They give you rice, salad, sauces and other stuff to add as flavor. The portions are filling and perfect. Friendly staff and they are still learning their stuff but all around great customer service. The guy that helped us was very attentive. Definitely a place to check out. The guy that helped us was named Kendrick. Check it out.

Can’t beat $20 lunch AYCE Korean BBQ! My favorite is the Hawaiian beef.
