Great experience for the past 2 years as my primary care doctor. He take the time to talk and ask questions. Communication with him and his staff has been outstanding as well.

I had a wonderful experience with my primary care Dr.Oberoi. He was incredibly helpful, caring, and took the time to truly listen to my concerns. It's evident that he values his patients' well-being and goes the extra mile to provide thorough and thoughtful care. I feel fortunate to have such a knowledgeable, dedicated and compassionate doctor taking care of my health. Highly recommended.

I don’t often share reviews but I am shocked by how inaccurate these negative reviews are and had to say something.

Dr. Oberoi has been my PCP for the last 3 years, I’ve had his guidance for both acute and chronic care and he is the smartest and kindest doctor I’ve had. I've had many PCPs my entire life and Dr. O is easily amongst the best I’ve seen. His bedside manner is great, his diagnosis has always been accurate and he always spends time listening to me, never rushing visits. He always makes sure I understand my health and the plan we’ve made together. Honestly I was afraid to go to doctors appointments but with Dr. O all the fear has been dispelled, and all credit to him!

I would totally disregard the reviews saying Dr. Oberoi is condescending or a bad doctor. Him being rude to medi-cal patients can’t be further from the truth. I have medi-cal and I have in fact asked my entire family to switch to him and never received any complaint, only thanks and positive reviews. These negative reviews speak more about the reviewers than Dr. Oberoi. Those of us who know him know he is an amazing doctor and an even better person. I hope he doesn’t leave or retire anytime soon, my health has never been better. If you have a chance to see him do yourself a favor and get the appointment. Wonderful doctors like him get booked quickly.

First saw Dr. Oberoi in an urgent care setting. I was so impressed with the care I received from him that I made him my primary care provider at John Muir. He is an excellent listener, as reflected in his notes. He is action-oriented and got me quickly into a specialist that was called for. Staff at his office were excellent too.

Dr. Oberoi is an excellent and caring Doctor. Every time I have a visit, I feel that he is actually listening and providing me with top notch services. He takes his time to diagnose and communicate a clear plan for that diagnosis and treatment. I never feel rushed during my visits. He is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a Doctor. I trust him so much that I told my son to change over to Dr Oberoi as his Primary Care Physician. Dr. Oberoi, thank you for your professionalism and kindness!

Dr Oberoi has been great to work with. He takes his time and never seems to rush my visits. He really goes into detail with the care he recommends. Also great at following up and getting me the help I need.

Dr Oberoi is a very thorough and Amazing doctor. He gives ample time to his patients and helps address all issues. He is by far the best Doctor that I have met.

Dr. Oberoi is one of the nicest doctors I have worked with. He takes his time and cares to find solutions for my ailments. I definitely recommend him.

Very good General care doctor, I really feel like he listens to my problems

The staff is great, but sadly Dr. Oberoi is the worst doctor I've ever seen. Details below, in summary is that he does not have a working relationship with his patients, but rather is condescending and talks to down to his patients, particularly if you're on Medi-Cal.

He does the bare minimum (my physical which took 3 appointments to finally receive, consisted of him putting a stethoscope on my chest and back, he'd completely forgotten—for the second time—that I was fasting and to order blood work, and won't prescribe even the most basic of medications such as topical skin creams, instead making you jump through the bureaucratic hoops of scheduling endless appointments months out.

After suffering a terrible bike accident, rather than write a letter saying what my restrictions were at work so I could prevent myself going into further debt, he said "we don't do that," and put it back on me, abdicating his responsibilities once again. He then went on to LIE on the MyChart appointment summary, claiming I was going off on the FDA (maybe this lumps me in for future doctors with some sort of "anti-doctor" dog-whistling language, but no such words ever passed my lips.

He has a major arrogance problem and needs to reevaluate his EQ and bedside manner.

This doctor is my ADULT yes ADULT sons doctor he felt the need to call me not once but twice to discuss emails my son sent him rather than email or call my son back directly. Today when he called me to complain about my son it was in regards to him telling dr Oberai he didn’t like being bullied by him in office. And he wouldn’t stand for it by him or any other doctor. This was all in regards to my son being not able to get immunization due to adverse reactions. The doctor decided berated me telling me to force him into it would be the way to go. And then say he wouldn’t commit “medical fraud” ok send me an email so we can send you my sons medical records that you didn’t want to get. He then insisted I print my sons entire medical chart out and drop it to him. When I asked for an office manager supposedly they were on vacation. Then when I asked for the persons phone number for who was above her or filling supposedly no one. Miraculously though not 20minutes later his office manager calls me with a solution. That vacation sure ended quickly. He is not a good doctor and needs his license revoked I will be reporting him to the medical board. For not just this but another incident last week with my youngest.

Better be at home and google your treatment rather than consulting this doctor. We had a extremely bad urgent care visit and no treatment with this doctor. It was a complete waste of time and money, apart from trouble for my 18 months kid.
Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Horrible experience with this doctor and John Muir in general.

My opinion is that this doctor and John Muir don't want to tell you how much everything costs, the billing services ask you to call the doctor but when you do they charge you even more for the call. Be ready to pay as much as 250 dollars for a video call!
