I stopped here for a large (16 oz) Chai Latte around 8 AM on a Saturday and was greeted outside by the order taker. The service was excellent and the Chai came out relatively quickly. It was a good value and one of the best Chai Lattes I've ever had. It was flavorful without being too sweet.

We really liked this lovely coffee shop! Barista was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about coffee. We had Colombia and Ethiopia, both were really good! We will definitely come back.

The espresso/cappuccino is fantastic and always drop-by when in the area. The pastries have also been great when I decide to grab one. Highly recommend for a pit stop.

Tasty coffee, they roast themselves and take pride in the quality. Ask about their gold bean medals. Breakfast sandwiches aren't bad either! They are especially delicious when they have the onion and peppers added!

It has been a few months since I've been to Mountain Grounds for my morning coffee & treat. They are quick, you can even text in your order. They are so friendly and have you on your way with a smile in the morning. Not to mention the coffee and all of their food is fantastic. I'll have to stop by tomorrow.

Top notch coffee spot in Martinez. The owner and staff are as passionate and personal about their coffee selection as they could possibly be, and they have some truly unique coffee beans to try. The storefront is small, and it can take a minute to get your drink if it’s busy, but it’s worth it.

Awesome coffee, have been searching for good coffee in/around Concord and have honestly had little luck with it. This place is in Martinez and they have, quite literally, award winning coffee and it definitely shows. We spoke with Daniel and Lucius and it was cool to hear Daniel tell stories of coffee competitions around the world that this shop has participated in, the process of their roasting, and their progress being in business the last ten or so years. Will definitely be back for more!

This is definitely a local gem. There is something for the whole family here. We always order the breakfast sandwiches which are delicious and made to order with fresh eggs. I can text my order and pull up to pick up which for a mom of 4 is a huge time saver. The staff is always smiling and friendly. The coffee is always great. I generally get a white mocha or Carmel cinnamon latte. The staff is always good for suggestions on great combinations too. I highly recommend you stop by and give them a try.

Coffee is FANTASTIC. Super excited to try other roasts and to bring some beans home too. I got the breakfast Sammy with bacon and it was perfect. Great prices as well! I will definitely be a regular from now on.

Great coffee, great staff. You can text your order ahead and have it ready when I'm you arrive which is amazing. The do drip coffee so it does take a moment but that makes it better. No dark roasts but medium and light roasts.
