Bacon East Pharmacy

Bacon-East Pharmacy supports the medical office building it is in and John Muir Hospital across the street.

It is not a CVS or Walgreens, just “a pharmacy.” Place is tiny, not a lot of floor space. They will also mail items to you too if you don’t want to go the pharmacy itself .

Also not easy to find either. Once you see their banner sign from the street, immediately turn left into the parking lot. Parking lot is below or under the building (looks like a 1960s apartment building). Either walk up the stairs or take the elevator then walk into the office building.

I've been going to bacon East Pharmacy for so long I don't even know how long it's been. Over 20 years during that time I've gone to other pharmacies that were closer and I've always went back to bacon East because they really take care of their customers. They don't have all the annoying rules that Walgreens and CVS has. They still have good customer service unlike most stores these days. It's not always easy to get through to him on the phone but they do take care of their customers better than anybody. I can't say enough about this pharmicy compared to his at times I went to Walgreens and CVS it's just like night and day that's why this gets 5 Stars most places that I review get high ratings because I've lived here a long time and I go to all the best places cuz I know which ones are good. So definitely five stars for bacon East they moved right across the street from used to retire but I think it's John Muir hospital now write off E Street they used to be on bacon and East Street but now they're on high school or just right across from the hospital only quarter mile from where they were it's a nicer looking interior next time I go I'll get some good pictures to post. I seen some other reviews and they do complain about that it's hard to get a hold of them on a phone. But all pharmacies are hard to get ahold of them on the phone. If that's the only problem there is your you're doing pretty good. The pharmacist and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful and know what they're doing and they've all been there a long time. get away from Walgreens and CVS and see what an old-fashioned hard-working Pharmacy is like. Especially if you have a lot of medications to deal with. Have a nice day

Whenever you're ready for a REAL pharmacy, go to Bacon East Pharmacy in Concord. I've been using 12-15 Rx meds a day, some of them 4 times daily, for the past several years. Bacon East has filled each one on time, 100% of the time. The entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you have a question about any of your meds, there are 5-6 pharmacists eager to provide the answer(s). Plus, the owner is on the property more often than not.
Try Bacon East. You won't be disappointed. I live in Martinez, and drive past 6-7 drug stores every time I go to Bacon East.

Very friendly and professional staff. Also one of the few pharmacies that offers reliable delivery services, usually by the next afternoon. Highly recommended.

Staff's always rude and unprofessional. Hangs up on our staff or just wont answer the phone all together. Customer service is terrible from upper management on down
