We love coming for their happy hour. They offer beer and wine/sake. My daughter likes the bento box, and we always get the volcano.

Lots of parking. Can get busy, but I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table.

We decided to try a new spot and found this one on yelp. They don't have a current website up but they are open- I ordered while there for take out and the staff was very friendly. There were many people eating in which I took as a good sign... and it was. Everything we ordered on this Saturday tasted super fresh and high quality. I love when the niguri cuts actually do melt in your mouth! The special rolls were smaller than I was expecting (comparing to other sushi bars) yet we're very flavorful and just as fresh as the nigiri. The restaurant looked very clean and was easy to find, lots of parking. I plan on ordering from them again.

Server (May) was very KIND to honor our 'happy hour pricing' at 6:30 p.m. Delicious sashimi! Oh Yes rolls yummy! Kids like the miso soup, too. Very filling & great dinner value $60, family of 4.

Reasonable prices during "Happy :) Hour" 5-6:30 p.m. Fresh tasting, delicious sushi & sashimi! Clean tables, quick service & pleasant atmosphere. Recommend!

Try the spicy tuna bomb! All was very good and servers were kind.

Sushi! Delicious rolls, great variety, good prices great customer service. Just go. No need for me to say anything else.

We love this little place in Pinole! Always find the food fresh and delicious. The Sushi Chef is very good at what he does. We go often.

We had a delicious dinner. Delicious special rolls, sake negiri and beef teriyaki plate. The happy hour special was lovely to drink from.

Tachikawa is also very tasty. My wife and I early for happy hour when select rolls are a bit cheaper. We love the Tiffany roll. Teriyaki dishes are also excellent as well. We've gone her for 18 years or so.

Delicious food, friendly staff and great environment. Lots of regulars, which is always a sign that there is consistent quality in both food and customer care. Hadn't been in years simply for it not being near anywhere I lived. Now its on my way home from work, happy to make it a regular dinner stop!

It had been some years since we've been here (our kids were too young to appreciate it). We came back for a date night during happy hour. The food was amazing and the happy hour deals are unbeatable. We'll be back for sure!

we come here often around lunch time - always order ahead so we arent rushed to eat prior to getting back to work. The service is awesome - and their rolls are very unique. Love this place

If you haven't been, please go! Mom and pop owned. Everything here is amazing! Sashimi, rolls, bento box, etc... My regular is a sashimi combo, buba roll, hot sake and Sapporo and I am never let down. Their consistency is amazing. Very friendly staff. If you are someone who likes deep friend rolls, get their Oh Yes its fantastic. P.S. If you like anime, sit at the bar and talk to Chris, he is awesome ^_^ 10/10, HIGHLY RECOMEND!

I am not a local, I'm actually from eastern Oregon. Let me tell you, Tachikawa's has the best sushi I've tried in a super super long time. Might be the best. We did take out and the quality was exceptional! Price is great.

Delicious food, friendly service, great prices... couldn’t ask for a more pleasant dining experience! And our waitress Ni (sp?) was especially kind and attentive! Highly recommended!!!
