AJ is the man. I walked in looking to get some clubs shortened. He measured me, made recommendations, and did all the shortening and regripping on the spot. Great price too. Highly recommend

This place is a MUST for any golfer, ESPECIALLY beginners. I started golfing a few months ago, and decided it was time to get fitted. AJ, one of the two golf technicians, fitted me to the tee! He spent over 30min figuring out the best fit in clubs. At no time did I feel he was up selling me for the highest priced set, rather he showed me multiple options, and explained each set in detail. I ended up picking up a used titleist set, they feel great, look great and priced great. I appreciate the overall experience of the fitting, and I am looking forward to coming back for all my golfing needs. This Place Is A Must!

Great place! The main guy there is AJ. He's a cool guy and works fast and efficient, as he regripped 3 of my golf clubs in 5 minutes. Definitely earned a regular customer!

Grip It Golf is a local treasure. I recently decided to take up golf after a 30 year hiatus. After a few practice swings, A.J. explained my options for a set of used clubs with expertise. I ended up opting for a higher end graphic shafted used set of Pings. After four months of playing with the set, the shafts started to display signs of stress fractures. I approached A.J. to discuss repair options, and was pleasantly surprised when he told me he would repair the clubs at no cost. A.J. stands firmly behind his products, and his customers. He has the best ball prices you will find, and a wealth of knowledge to share. A.J. is my first stop if I need anything golf related. Grip it golf is a unicorn in todays world of big box retail. If you like "old school" customer service, this is the place for you.

Sad to say, my family has needed numerous club shaft replacements, but AJ always has a good product in stock at a reasonable price, and manages to get it done by the next day or sometimes even sooner. (Conversely, to reshaft my driver, one of the big golf shops just told me they have a 3 week backlog on repairs, and that it'll probably cost $200 minimum; then the dude tried to upsell me on a whole new driver instead.) At Grip it, we also picked up a starter ladies set for my wife for less than $200. Highly recommend this place!

This place is fantastic.

On 1st visit...after waiting for 6 weeks at a big box store to re-tip a driver shaft AJ was able to get it done in a day. I also inquired about some things going on with my putter and he saw some issues with the loft and the grip being off center. He was able to make adjustments on the spot.

On my 2nd visit I took a putter to get extended for arm-lock putting. While asking about that I asked about some issues I was having hooking the ball due to my lie's maybe being off. After discussion we found that most of the clubs were made wrong from the TaylorMade factory being 1.5 inches too long. He was able to adjust the putter and all my irons in a few hours.

If you need club adjustments of any kind. Go to this place for sure.

I am new to the area and discovered this great shop through a recommendation, followed up with reviews of Yelp. What a great golf shop, I had several clubs re-gripped and later he helped with club fitting. Very knowledgeable, extremely patient, and affordable. It goes without saying that I was very pleased with the quality of his customer service. I have been referring golfers I meet at the course to him since my first experience, not sure if they went because I was so enthusiastic about the place. Bottom line, go check this place out!!!

Hello! I am new to the area and I happened on to the Grip it Golf Shop. I purchased new/used clubs at a great price and Al was amazing setting my clubs to fit my swing. I then took them out and played the Franklin Course and hit farther than ever consistently. I now am having to dial in my new found yardage with going to the driving range. Al also will not sell you anything that you do not need. I took my husband there and even though my husbands clubs were older Al suggested to re-grip them with the same grips as his were different sizes and give it a try. Then after looking over my husbands clubs, assessing his swing, Al advised a new shaft for his driver. My husband is now hitting straighter than ever!! FIVE STARS to AL!! Thank you!

AJ is a golf wizard. Brought him a set of irons I recently had always swapped by "the other guy." At a glance he identified issues with my lofts and lies (bought the heads used) and made sure the alignment was spot on with my poured shafts.

My irons have never felt more balanced. I hit longer and more consistently than ever before.

Al is great! I appreciate the attention and detail I received when I upgraded my set of TaylorMade golf clubs. Al is straightforward to let me know if the club would be ideal for my current golf level/swing. He also took the time and patience needed to custom fit my new clubs to my specifications and swing. I've tried my new Mizuno golf clubs twice and I must say I am very impress of how consistent and improved my ball flight appears. I've tried other popular custom fitters who cost more, and Grip It 'N Rip It Custom Golf Club (Al) is in the same category and service with the better value. Thank you Al! Great place! I got my irons regripped. Good price and great atmosphere.

I have had them perform a couple shaft replacements and re grips. Shafts next day, grips while i looked around the shop. Fair pricing, and very knowledgeable. You can tell they are passionate about golf.

AJ is great. My mizunos loft and lie all messed up. Adjusted and stripe show now. Also extended my wedges. Reasonable price and fast. Will be coming back for all my club needs.
