Contra Costa County Coroner

Very respectful and prompt coroner’s office.

My half brother passed away in early December. His mother and supposed fiancé purposefully withheld the news of my brother passing for almost 24 hours while they made plans to get there first. When they finally told us he passed, they lied about which city he passed and wouldn’t give us his address. They were already there. His supposed fiancé didn’t know where he lived and kept saying Oakland was the city?

They day I found out of my brothers passing I spent majority of the day calling coroner’s offices and we finally get a hold of the correct coroner, Contra Costa County. Get this, they told my father “it’s first come, first serve” like it’s a fast food joint. It was completely unprofessional and given the nature of their work I’d like to think they would handle these situations with respectful tack. I don’t know if anyone even reads reviews of coroners offices. But I pray for the families that have to deal with this coroner.
