Love the smell when you walk in the door ..you got to try the pecan tart make sure you share... tried the Mexican Wedding cookie for the first time I was just supposed to take one bite it was so delicious I ate the whole thing

Yum yum, mouth watering carrot cakes, tiramisu, tres leche, chocolate pyramid and my favorite mango fruit passion.

I was introduced to this bakery roughly 5 years ago and have been a regular since! Maria's pastries are hands down the BEST value for the money. They are a small bakery who put a lot of effort in their craft. I remember the days when they had less than 5 different types of pastries on display and not a lot of customers but today, there's a healthy selection of sweets to choose from and a line out the door! Their popularity is organic as i've never seen them advertise. Word of mouth has been the reason for success.

My personal favorite dessert is the W&D pyramid cake. It's not overly sweet and the presentation is great. They also have an insanely good chocolate "tres leches" cake that is heavenly. I've probably been here over a dozen times to buy pastries for celebrations and everyone loves it! I've ordered the cheesecake for my sister's birthday and it was perfect. Looks presentable and tastes excellent.

This bakery is AWESOME. My favorite one for sure. It tastes great and they do not charge crazy.

Great pastries! Grabbed a large variety for a great deal. I'm very picky with pastries. If they're too sugary sweet then I can't enjoy them. These were perfectly balanced. Some varieties I thought I hated until I tried them made right. Will absolutely go to Maria's anytime I need desserts or coffee/breakfast treats.
The staff was very friendly as well.

One of the best bakery’s here near the Richmond, El Sobrante ,Pinole Hercules Area would never find a bakery this good but very very expensive should low the prices because it seems the prices raise up a lot often!

Awesome service. I was able to order a cake to be ready the same day!. They have Delicious pastries from; mexican flan to a new york cheesecake in different flavors. I was very surprised to see that they also have macaroons in 5 flavors.

The best place to get custome cakes for any event. Cheese cake, chocolate chip cookies, fudge brownies and flan are some of my favorits but really everything is good and deliciouse 😋 You do have to order a few days ahead of time as they are always busy as you would expect from a good place. Customer sevice is always good. Definitly give it a try.

Man o' man....Wow. This place is the absolute best. Counting calories? Not here. Went in to get one thing, ended up with a dozen different items and multiples of those. Prices? Will not break the bank at all. Actually was pleasantly surprised at cost. Highly recommend. And worker was as nice as can be....

Omg this place is amazing! So professional and friendly employees! I needed a cake the same day I made the order and the Baker did an outstanding job! So beautiful and tasted amazing. My husband loved his birthday cake! I’ll be going back to get my Brother’s bday cake this week.

Yummmmmm, wish they served espressos, late, capocino...very delicious pastry, unlike other locations cakes and pastries here aren't over powering with excessive sweetness that make u sick. Also the prices are reasonable. The garbage u pay $5.00 in Orinda or Lafayette u pay half or less here for very good pastry.

Tastiest tres leches cakes I've had. Had cakes from Maria's at least 10 times and they've always been tasty. Also the price is very reasonable in my opinion.

Best of the best on the Bay Area! I live in hayward and oh man can no one beat them their 3 leches cakes are the best !

Love your tres leches cakes! You know when you've got some great pastries and cakes when i'm thinking about it years after i've had it AND i've moved to Australia (pls deliver to me).

So glad you guys are still around and i can't wait to come back when i visit the bay again :)
