Great shop! It’s welcoming, reasonably priced and I get great advice from the staff. They fixed my flat and adjusted my brakes. I have had a few experiences elsewhere with shops refusing to work on my e-bike, so great to know I have a solid option right on my way. I’m a fan.

Great shop, and I don't go to many since I'm a DIY guy myself. Staff was awesome, they don't have wild Bay Area prices, and they're knowledgeable and honest. They couldn't repair a shifter I brought in since it was failing [and non-repairable in the end], but gave it their best shot free of charge and threw in a new cable they used to troubleshoot it. I'm coming back. Got a new local shop.

I had an amazing-great technical support! The technical support is fabulous and very professional.
They gave me all the options in a short time and were very professional.

I definitely recommend the bike sales and repair support at this store.

I love this place! I remember taking my bikes there 20 years ago and the customer service is still just as great as it used to be. I went in there today looking for a new mountain bike. They were very busy but immediately started helping me. The guy that help me somehow took me straight to the bike I ended up buying. He knew exactly what I wanted and I’m extremely happy with my new bike!!

Let first say I'm that person who always reads reviews but I never write them. After going to El Sobrante Cyclery I found it very important to share my experience. El Sobrante Cyclery was the third bicycle shop I went to in search of a "adult" bike. I had not biked or own a bike in over 10 years and it was a simple Schwinn bike. They were very patient with me as they asked me questions about the kind of biking I planned to do showed me a nice selection of bikes. I did not buy a bike that day but returned 3 days later with my husband, 18 year son and 20 year old daughter and we bought 4 bikes. The staff took their time with each of us They know bikes and are so kind and helpful. This should have been the first bike shop I went to and my family and I love our bikes.

I remember coming to this place as a kid, buying tons of upgrades for my bikes way back. So when my youngest son wanted a new (real) bike, it was one of the first places that came to mind. When I saw they were still open there was no question. We made a 45min trip just to look.
The service is still great, very knowledgable staff, and they have every part and accessory you would need. ( yes, we did buy a bike )

Great Bike Shop! Great selection and the employees were very helpful. This place is the place to go if you need repairs,service or just need a new bike they got you!

After shopping at Mikes Bikes and The Peddler in El Sobrante I bought my wife a new Schwinn. The staff went out of their way to customize the fit to her as she is only 5ft. The sells staff and mechanics are very helpful and friendly. I am very happy with them.

I purchased a GT 29" bike an the employee were great they took the time to explain everything to me about the bike , checked over the bike before I left the store ..an I would recommend the store to anyone looking for a nice bike . Great price,,,...

We were leaving town for the weekend, headed to Fort Bragg. It had been a long time since I rode my bike, and we stopped here on our way out of town for a new tube for my back tire. Come to find out, I needed a whole new tire, and tube. $25 and 5 minutes later we were on our way. Couldn't have been more happy to support a local bike shop and so impressed with the speed and prices. Thanks guys! Our weekend on our bikes was great!
