Northwest Barbershop

After being directed to the website to set up an appointment, even though I walked in, I was able to be seen within 20 minutes. Super friendly and talented barbers! I highly recommend jumping online and setting an appointment anytime you need classic or modern barber.

Have been getting my haircut here for the last two years and have enjoyed every cut. Barbers know what they are doing and very friendly. Sadly I am moving and have to find a new barber. Wish I could take them with me

I've had my hair cut here 3 times, and I think I've had a different stylist each time. They all did a great job and didn't seem to be too weirded out by a 62-year-old woman from west of the mountains showing up for a clipper cut. A resident at the nursing home where I work is a retired barber, and is very particular about haircuts. He's given a big thumbs up for each haircut I've gotten at Northwest Barbershop.

Awesome place. Great work and fast too! My husband looks extra amazing!

***Update update: I did go back in for another attempt at a hair cut. Jaime cut my son's hair and I daresay it is the best hair cut he has ever received. He took the time to talk with me about my preferences, my son's hair, and how he would work toward the picture I showed him using my son's hair type. The finished product was fabulous!

Ended poorly. Took my kiddo in with picture example and everything. Google gave rave reviews and the ability to book online was lovely. Guys were nice. However, I was a bit concerned with how rough his hair cut was and how it was going to turn out given how fast the barber was cutting. I didn't say anything when he was done as he styled it with water then we left thinking, well this should be ok.....Then it dried.

**Update: I do stand by my original stars, however I got a call from the owner this morning and will most definitely give this shop another go at a later date and will revise my review accordingly. Thank you Jaime.**

The best barbershop in town hands down. Great service, quality haircuts, amazing barbers. The fact that these barbers commute from out of town everyday shows commitment. If you want quality haircuts hit up NorthWest barbershop!

I have been a customer of NW Barbershop since they opened. I not only get a terrific haircut, but amazing service. Jaime and his colleagues are extremely welcoming and kind. They also cut my boys hair, and always ask about my family when I'm there. They really care about their customers. I highly recommend this barber shop!💈💈

It was sad having to find someone new to cut my hair after my stylist of eight years died. However, Armando at Northwest Barbershop did an amazing job. Clean lines and perfect cut to make me look a little younger. I really appreciated being able to schedule online. They have a clean shop that has a modern garage feel. Friendly, professional... I will definitely return.

I've been coming here awhile and I've got great haircuts from everyone at the shop. They're all cool dudes and it's a great spot I recommend to everyone. With kids at home and busy life, setting up an appointment on their website is a huge plus as well.

I take my boys to get haircuts here and they've always done an amazing job. I also had my undercut done here quite a few times and it always turned out great.

After visiting almost every barber at every barbershop in town, Northwest had the best experience/haircut quality/price combo.

Armando has cut my hair a few times and nailed the cut I wanted to the T. It’s kind of an advanced haircut ( a burst fade with a v-shaped neckline) but he makes it seem like a cakewalk. Thanks for the awesome cut! I’ve been going through a rough patch the last few months and I left feeling pretty good about myself. An awesome haircut plus time at the gym is just what the doctor ordered 😎

Very high quality barbershop. I have been getting a haircut and beard trim from Armando for about a year now and I am highly satisfied after every visit. The men here are very professional and friendly. I recommend this barbershop over any other in Ellensburg. Best haircuts I’ve ever received and they are well worth the price.
One critique I can give is with the store’s online scheduling. My haircut and beard trim takes about 45 minutes but the online system lists it as 30 minutes. Most of the time there is somebody scheduled immediately after me and they have to wait 15 minutes or so for my haircut to get done. I think that by allowing a scheduled 45 minutes for the haircut and beard trim this will keep customers from having to wait as long. This is a excellent establishment. Stop in if you never have, you won't regret it! This was my first time at Northwest Barbershop. Jamie is the man, he gave me one hell of a fresh cut in preparation for my wedding. Let me tell ya... fiancé definitely approves!

Even with THAT sort of pressure he was quick, efficient, precise, all the while building great rapport too. Great old school barbershop vibe where you feel comfortable and taken seriously, you don't get that anywhere else. Ya'll made a repeat customer out of me! Thanks a ton!

Armando is the man! I asked him for something different, and man, did he deliver! The guy knows how to keep the good vibes going throughout a cut.
