If you’re looking for a meal that feels like “homemade”, this is a great place to satisfy your craving. Staff seems energetic, polite and respectful, and they even ask if you’re allergic to any of the ingredients on the food you ask for which is not very common, that way they put your health first. Prices are reasonable and the taste is great. When you’re done eating your main meal, you can get some pastries right there as well and they’re worth it.

We ordered pupusas, not knowing much of the place. The pupusas were great. My mother is very judging with sauces but she liked them.

The service was very nice, the guy serving us had a very nice presence and was cheery.

The place had nice decorating for Christmas, they also had music that was pleasant but in my personal view it need something more.

I loved the food, my mom will guarantee go there again.

Pupusas are absolutely delicious, taste and even the size is just like back home in El Salvador, these are not those horrible pupusas rhe size of a pizza...no! These are the size that they are normal and boy are they delicious.
Pastries are really, really good.
Only thing I would change is the guy at the register, he is not patient with customers , a little on the rude side.
Lots of parking and seating inside and outside.

The most delicious, authentic, and flavorful Savadorian food in town! Perfect size Pupusas packed with flavor. And the Horchata is dairy-free! Perfection.

Went here on a recommendation. This is one of those hidden gems in a small city. I had the chicken and cheese pupusas, enchilada and hot cinnamon milk with roasted corn drink. Everything I ordered was very good including the price. People working there were very nice. Definitely a good place to try.

Everything is great. The Turkey Sandwich is so good and unique, the Pupusas are delish, and the baked goods are on point. You can even get a birthday cake as well. Have no negatives on this place.

This place is unbelievably good! The pasteles were WARM and so delicious! I even tried the Tres Leches cake, and it wasn’t DRENCHED with leche but it was still soft and exactly what I was craving after a long hike. Support this local business! This plaza also has a variety of food choices—from fish and chips to authentic Mexican and Salvadoran. I want to come back and check this place again and the plaza!

The pastries here are delicious. I love the mil hojas and the penguinos. In addition, the restaurant makes some delicious pupusas and a spicy burger that will make you sweat. Furthermore, if you would like to try some delicious Salvadorean horchata, here is the place to go!

Omg, their pupusas are the best in Richmond, pinole, el sobrante, etc. They are small but the flavors are on point. The also have good bakery items too. Again, small but good.

The cakes pastries etc......I work at a shelter in place for the homeless. One of our guests was having her 87th birthday and I bought an assortment of pastries that was way cheaper than I thought it was going to be. I figured she wouldn't be able to eat them all. But she told me that they were so good......my roommate got pecan pastries an wouldn't share.

We came for chicken sandwich salvadorean style but they had run out of bread. They went the extra mile to accommodate our request by going to get more bread to the store, unfortunately still didn't get the sandwich but I love the effort.

You got to try the pineapple spicy burger and the lupus as with jalapeños. Both of them are extremely tasty.

I come here all the time when I am on my lunch!

Looking for a bakery & discovered this authentic place. Food & pastry was delicious. Staff were friendly. I’d be a frequent customer if I live in the area but will definitely stop by every time we’re in the area 😃

Best Pupusas in the area, along with a killer selection of Salvadorian baked goods. Small family run place and always super friendly.

I liked all of the pupusas, I also tried the enchilada, el salvadorian, good. My favorite part is the salsa and cabbage.
