I hate going to the dentist, I always have, but Dr Porteous & Burke staff have changed my perspective and made a normally very stressful visit into an easy, relaxing and painless experience. Their kindness and level of expertise have exceeded my expectations. Maria was my hygienist for my deep cleaning, and I can’t say enough positive things to emphasize how much I appreciate her for making me feel comfortable and relaxed. After years of neglect and anxiety about my teeth and the eventual pain I got from it, I finally took a chance and booked them. Couple visits later and they've become the only ones I trust and are comfortable with. These guys are REAL professionals. Not like those McDentist at Western Dental. Porteous & Burkeis the best Dentist on this side of the Bay.

I have been coming to this dentist for 35 years! The practice is now ran by his daughter Dr Pam Porteous and her husband Dr Matt Burke. I have always received excellent care. I know I can trust both of them! No doubt!
I have had Dr. Matt Burke give me several nerve blocks. (numbing the tooth) I feel ZERO discomfort when he gives me these injections. NONE! His technique works! Today, I had my first root canal. I was very nervous about it. Well once again, I am so happy I go to Porteous and Burke Family Dentistry ! They took excellent care of me. Once again !!
Melissa and Diana work the front desk, and have been for many, many years. They are always SO pleasant! They know their stuff inside and out! I am telling you.. looking for DDS? Go to them! I know you will agree with me!!!

Dr. Pam did a couple of fillings on some of my molars. She was so sweet and did an AMAZING job with the help of her lovely assistant. It was very fast and painless! I was very happy with my visit.

Great dentistry is a combination of technical expertise, knowledge of best practices and artistry. I have been a patient of this office for over forty years and knew Dr. Pam and Dr. Matt had big shoes to fill after the first generation retired. They have surpassed my expectations. Whether it’s taking the extra time to cut away and old filling to make sure the tooth is not damaged underneath, to providing the latest in safety techniques, to finding the right veneer match so your smile is bright, the detail and professional care continually shown is superb. And it doesn’t hurt that they and their entire staff are warm and caring people!

I have been coming to this dentist for pretty much my whole life. They are so personable and make going to the dentist not feel daunting and scary. The energy is always great and they do a great job helping and educating their patients to set them up for success!

Love P&B! Jasmine was so careful after I told her I have super sensitive teeth. She took her time and did not rush and was very patient with me ! Love the dentists and will highly recommend this office. My husband will be transferring here now! Cannot thank this office enough for their professionalism and thorough cleanings like no other!

Being someone who absolutely hates having to go to the dentist, I have to say that this practice makes it much much easier. They are all incredibly nice and all very gentle. Even the most invasive procedures are done with minimal discomfort. They really know what they’re doing and it shows. Communication is also something that really stands out with how thorough they explain things and listen to concerns with compassion.

From the moment I walked in they made me feel welcomed. My cleaning went so well Jasmine was amazing, super understanding and great at what she does. She made me feel at ease specially after I told her how I suffer from anxiety when at the dentist.

I needed a lot of work done because I don’t like going to the dentist. My brother in law owns his own dental lab and he told me this place was really good. He knows how picky I am. He said “trust me you will be comfortable here.” He was rite! We did my work in sections. I would wait for my insurance to get replenished. He never ever made me feel pressured into getting something done that I wasn’t ready for. Whatever pace I needed to go with was fine with him. He would just walk me through each step. It took 2 years to finish everything, because that is what I was comfortable with. The whole experience was really amazing. Now I will never wait this long again. Now that all my work is complete. I’m going to make sure I get my cleanings and I stay on top of it.

I’ve been getting my dental work done at Porteous & Burke for nearly 10 years. Jasmine and Matt are awesome and truly cares about their patients. I recently had to change dental coverage which covers a lot less, But the work they do there is so good that my heart is content. Thank you porteous And Burke. Your the the best.

I just need to tell everyone how much I love this office!!! Linda is the most thorough hygienist I’ve come across. Linda made me feel comfortable and gave me excellent service. She takes the time to explain procedures and exactly what patient should expect. Office staff are kind and caring. Dr. Porteous is an amazingly skilled and thorough Dentist. Dr. Porteous made some adjustments to my teeth that no other dentist could.
Now my jaw lines up feels really comfortably
