Located on the south end of the Veranda outdoor mall.
Parking can be a challenge due to the fact their are more cars than parking spaces.
I suggest parking on the backside of the stores or go on a weekday and
avoid the crowds.
B&N is spacious and inviting.
Wide selection of books.
There is a Starbucks inside B&N.
Very convenient to grab a book, order a mocha and find a comfortable chair and relax.

Brand new store and in one of the best new places to have it. Better access to everything, and a wide range of different things. However there is no music section, except for a small shelf area having some vinyl records. Otherwise, this place is amazing, and they even feature local authors too.

AC inside🤩 outside is 🌡hot😣 greeted by workers & assisted several minutes later by another friendly employee who walked us directly to our desired location, which was vinyl and CD's. The coffee bar server offered us a free sample (iced coffee) as we shopped. Indoor seating is bar style and there are six outdoor tables🤓

This is a new building so its nice and clean. It has a Starbucks cafe inside with seating. It is in the Veranda Mall which is really pretty and new. The only downside is that parking is crazy, especially Thursday-Sunday.

Very kind to us, as we were relaxing in the chairs & talking w/ a friend close to 'closing time' 8 p.m. Staff was gracious to us, gently reminded us. We made a last minute purchase & she was very nice & efficient. Layout of store is very good, well lit & organized!

This is my family's favorite Barnes & Noble to visit. Even though it's in a very busy shopping center, you don't really feel that hustle and bustle inside the store. The staff always greet you and ask you if you need help with anything. Arianna, one of the cashiers, was really great with my 7 year-old. She was super patient, and spent time walking her around the kid's section. She helped her find her favorite authors, and even recommended some really good choices (which she ended up choosing by the way). Keep up the great work B&N employees =)

Fantastic book store as one would expect for a Barnes and noble. Small compared to other locations, but well organized, clean, well staffed, and still plenty of books to choose from.

I love this location! The staff are very friendly and the store is clean. B&N has always been on the pricier side of things, but I'm happy to pay them knowing I'm supporting authors I love.

Is a beautiful new location! Great children's books with benches, nice Starbucks and a very friendly staff.

I enjoy my book and snacks! Tyler is very professional, greets me and my family at every visit! Store is always well kept, books are displayed all over but my son loves the children's section, that is set off to itself. Great place to take a moment to enjoy your day.

I caught several Foreign spies perusing maps of the US and discussing nefarious plans to hit every 24 hour pancake house in every state in order to judge the winner.

Super cool place and in a great location. I took my son here and we scored a Pokemon book and a LEGO set. The cashier was friendly and acknowledged my son too. I'll go back soon.

This is a smaller Barnes & Noble location but it still has a nice selection. It's very clean and the layout is nice and spaced out. I liked how they had a few tables full of manga in the front, as well as the regular manga section in the back right corner.

Very cool place to spend some hunting for a good book.

Bookstore. The have an extensive collection of fiction, non-fiction, DIY, NATURE, children's books and cd's.
They also sell games, appointment books and over
-size volumes.
You can enjoy coffee, tea and other beverages along with yummy pastries. You can read a book and nosh and have a quiet atmosphere. They will answer your question or just eave you alone to read.

My son bought a book, threw the receipt away, then walked back into the store. After realizing this, we still selfishly asked if there was a way to use that purchase toward the three for two special they had. The manager bent over backward to procure that receipt, give us a refund so we could instantly buy it again to take advantage of the special. That's service! Thanks so much!

Barnes and Noble are always a great place for books, games, novelty items, and kids things. This particular location is no exception. It is very clean and has a great selection. The store seems more high end than other locations and it located in a really nice part of town. Check out the surrounding area for other fun places and good food to eat.

I purchased three books today for the little ones. I knew what I wanted but wasn't sure of their location. The sales person was a great resource. She knew exactly were the books were located, which were the newest in the series, and did you know that Captain Underpants is now illustrated in vivid colors. Kudos to the cashier too.

Big, well lit, clean, helpful staff. I love this store as it closes at 9pm and has a Starbucks in it. Winning!! Lots of non-book STUFF for sale too. One of the last big box book stores around.

So fantastic to be a a book store again. Of course I love books but since Barnes and Noble in both pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek closed..we have missed being able to actually go in the bookstore. Wonderful place.. needs a few more chairs, but otherwise has coffee etc available...and lots of books and magazines.
