Balfour-Guthrie Park

Pretty decent park neat n clean. The park is situated along the mount Diablo so the backdrop is amazing! The park has 1 tennis ground, 1 basketball, and one baseball field/soccer along with kids play area. I really like it in the evening with Sun toned down bit. I wish I could live near by like walkable but I am still 5 minutes away!:)

In my opinion, Balfour-Guthrie is a top 5 park in Brentwood. Plenty of parking lot space, brick-and-mortar facilities, hard surface tennis court, basketball court(double rim, metal net), well maintained baseball/softball diamond, HUGE grass field and ample play structure suited best for 5-11 y.o. Many of the parks in Brentwood have some of these features but this is one of only a few that has all of them. Baseball diamond and soccer field are used regularly for recreational league sports so check availability if that's your plan.

Overall... Great park. Plenty of parking. Safe and clean. Lots of space. Usually active, but not overly crowded. Next to a small shopping center with a froyo place, bagels & kawfee, bobba, pizza, red hawts, sushi/noodles... So there's food and drinks to feed you if you get a craving for something. I wish I had a park like this near my home.

I go and play tennis with a friend and it so nice and quiet.. plus the amazing places to get something to eat and drink like Willy's is awesome!

Very nice, clean, lots of ♿ parking available. Best was there was a lot of room for kids to play (playground) and a large grassy area to run around. Restrooms were nearby which is a plus with small children.

Very nice park on the edge of town. Its quiet and away from major street activity. There is a big covered patio are with plenty of tables to eat and a big charcoal barbecue you can use

This park has a Tennis court, Basketball court, regulation Soccer Field and a Volleyball Court. Guthrie park also have a great area for younger players to play and slide, jump, climb. Places to eat all around.

Always a great place to take the kids to play. All the people you bump into there are very nice. Not very common anymore in today's society.

Very transquil and lots of place to hang out with social distancing.... We didnt have anyone in about 20 ft near us.. it was nice to hang out with our puppy and have him run around a bit!

This park has Basketball courts, Tennis courts, Playground for kids, the grounds are beautifully maintained as the grass is green and landscape is impeccable.

Honestly, I dont even think Ive even gone to this park but it looks pretty nice, AND the picture includes a sunset.

We like playing basketball here at night, the lights will be on until 10 pm.

Nice place for a Bible Study and after the kids can play

Great park, close to food and the fields to practice soccer or softball..

We visit very often and my kids enjoy the play area over there.
