Taqueria Los Arcos

I'm giving them 5 stars across the board. They have been my go to Taqueria in the neighborhood for 20 years. It's a small place with a constant flow of folks ordering for take out and dine in.

In 90s Concord/Clayton, this place was one of the first Mexican restaurants, and today still known amongst folk as lit. A 25+ year vet Mex spot in Concord/Pittsburg/Pleasant Hill tends to be worth tasting/value awesome, and all who knew an SF/Oak spot/spin off (ex. El Faro in SF v El Faro in Concord) knows the better version of burrito/taco/quality etc is here (Concord, P Hill, W C, Pitt).

Current favorite is the chile verde + lengua chimichanga (pictured).

Come here weekly. Best salsa and the best burritos are right here! The green salsa is so good it’s indescribable. I love the vibe, and workers are always kind since we’re regular customers. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Shoutout to Spencer!

Amazing food and great prices!! If you are from here or just drive around for work like I do, stop and eat here. Great customer service also!!

It's a small spot next to several other stores, including McDonalds. Come on a Tuesday and have inexpensive tacos. I love the burritos, and all the meat choices are excellent! The staff is friendly and there is generally a good place to sit and watch futball on the TV. This is good food at a good price without all the displays!

Picked up an online order. The girl working was really kind. I went to sign for my meal on the pen wasn’t working and she handed me another piece of paper to put under it and it worked perfectly. The place is really small but the smells coming for the kitchen made me feel like I came to the right place. I ordered a Chimichanga with NO meat just beans, rice and cheese. It came with salsa and I ordered extra sour cream. It was the best one I have had in a long time. The place I went to before changed the ingredients in there’s for some reason. Looking forward to going back and trying some other items on the menu.

I've been coming here for over 20 years before that is building was at Taco Bell that I always went to also but the food's amazing it doesn't matter what you order great atmosphere you can eat on the patio or in best chips in town best salsa bar the staff makes you feel very welcome and they're very attentive towards your order great place to eat I have highly recommend Taco Tuesday tacos are always loaded I get Menudo con pata from time to time as you can see in the picture it's amazing

Food is good and price is fair. Crew tries to clean often.

10 bucks got me big a$$ SUPER carne asada burrito... Killer salsa bar... Free bag of chips... Up front parking... Friendly staff... Will be back ..

This taqueria delivers in food quality. I ordered a Carnitas chimichanga and it was friggin awesome!!! Not very fatty in their Carnitas and portions were large enough where I shared with my daughter and was still full. Definitely will be returning to this establishment.

The restaurant itself is rather small so I imagine it fills up quickly during busy hours.

Small dining space free chips and salsa with your purchase wait time is about 10 minutes there is no signs of where line starts because I was inline and 2 Uber eats or doordash drivers just cut in line and the cashiers was fine with it so when you get there make sure you go straight to order and don't pay attention to a line there is no control on that.

Had the Chicken Super Burrito - the chicken was very moist and flavorful - all the ingredients so fresh and delicious! Salsa tasted home made. Friendly and helpful service. We got there just before a long line appeared! Will definitely go back!

I'm really angry at myself for not eating here sooner. We've lived a couple miles away for 16 years, missing out on this wonderful place. This is really a 5-star, full-service Mexican restaurant cleverly hidden in a modest taqueria in an old Taco Bell building. Of course the tacos are amazing. But also burritos, enchiladas, chiles rellenos, flautas etc. And nice Mexican dinners, including a lot of wonderful seafood dishes. The Camarones a la Diabla is my absolute favorite, with an exquisite smoky red chile sauce. Everything is beautifully presented, even in takeout containers! There are always fresh tortilla chips, and an extensive salsa bar. And OMG the flan - silky with a lovely soft vanilla flavor. Churros too! Don't waste 16 years like I did. Eat there now!

Staff is very helpful and keeps the tables spotless.
Super burrito with carnitas is my favorite, but burrito with steak is also lovely.
They have a wide range of Bev's, including beers and soft drinks, carbonated and carbo-free.
Lots of take out business, so go early.

They have veggie options and complimentary chips and salsa ✨✨ !

Great food and customer service. My wife asked for no beans and they got it right. I got the jumbo shredded chicken burrito. I would have snapped a pic but I was too hungry. Will definitely be back!
